We live in Chicago and were meeting some friends who live in the suburbs, near where Nabuki is located. We went to Nabuki at their recommendation. On the plus side, it's in a walkable suburban area that isn't full of chains, etc., and it had a local feel about it. It was busy on a Saturday night with people from the neighborhood. That's where the good stuff stops. The decor is terrible--it's a weird form of modern and neither inviting nor comfortable. The service was awful--our server was aloof, seemed bothered by really basic questions about the menu, and was clearly just going through the motions. He even seemed irritated when we asked about the special. The price point here is not that low, so such bad service was a disappointment. The food was average. The sushi rolls were fresh enough but, in one case, bland and, in the other case, so doctored-up with stuff that the fish's flavor was lost. A noodle dish was bland; I normally love mushrooms, and these were bland and did not have any earthy flavor. The noodles were oily. A steak dish was tough. Overall, the menu was unfocused and trying to be too many things--and the food suffered for it.Not recommended: overpriced menu, bad service, mediocre food, odd atmosphere.

Uncle Mao's Chinese Restaurant was recommended when we were visiting friends, so we decided to order dinner. The food was ready, exactly when they said. Everything tasted hot and fresh. Uncle Mao's Chinese Restaurant is located in the Darien Plaza and there is plenty of parking, as well as easy access in to and out of the parking lot to Cass Ave. The staff was efficient and busy.

We have ordered take out from this place several times, and everything has always been great. Portions are huge, so there are always leftovers for meals the next day, and when going in to pick up our order, everyone is always nice!

I've eaten at Chiba on many occasions. We've eaten inside their new location twice since they moved and had carryout quite a few times. Hands down this is my favorite sushi restaurant. They have some unique rolls that are delicious. The Godzilla Roll and the Pink Orchid are two favorites. I also love the White Tuna Sushi. My husband loves the Hibachi meals. The kids usual opt for the Pan-Fried Pork Goyza, Edamame, and Fried Rice. The prices are reasonable for the quality of sushi. It is super convenient to order takout online and pick up through their drive thru (yes drive thru!). This is super-convenient since the parking can be hard. This new shopping center has limited parking.
If you like Asian food and like PF Chang you will enjoy this fast service version owned by PF Chang. Food is great but staff is always either confused or running around putting out fires. If you order a soup or salad or appetizer you usually get it after you get you main course even though you beg them to serve your soup and appetizers before they bring your entree. Don't try to call in your order for dine in, they took my order for dine in on the phone but then they were packing it for take out and then chastised me for placing a dine in order on the phone even though I asked the same young lady that was telling me they don't take dine in orders on the phone. Go figure. Food is good to great and it is addictive. You crave the taste. If only the could get their customer service on par with the food. It would be a five star experience if they would get their act together.

Our Sushi and Japanese restaurant uses only the freshest and finest ingredients around. We have a large selection of fresh seafood and have many signature sushi rolls with unique flavors. Our sushi is carefully prepared fresh every morning. We also offer
Food and Service was very good. Parking is free and super easy. Place was not crowded during Sunday lunch hours. Great! Sushi made on spot a delicious . There were just 3 things that made me score this place lower than 5: extremely dark interiors , especially bathroom. No soap in soap dispensers ( two sinks but one was out of order ). But truly the 3rd thing made me grade lower this place: in some places main flooring was very slippery, covered with grease or something very greasy ....I slid on it twice ( both ways going to and from the bathroom ). I almost lost control ... it would have been ugly.... it was dark and slippery and no one from staff seams concern about this issue...they were also out of mints at the exit door...but I loved their food so I will be back .

I have been going to this place for many years. I also used to do a lot of take out over the years.I have my certain favorites, and keep going back. I also have been to the brunch all you can eat whichis good. I like to treat myself with a take out when I have something to celebrate a little in my life andenjoy brining other people there.

Holy Crap I love this place! The buffet is totally the way to go if you are indecisive like me. Added bonus: you can try things that you maybe wouldn't normally try because of a description on a menu (because, let's be honest, sometimes reading the description of things on a menu makes you less inclined to try it) and you might find out you have a new favorite, like I did when I discovered Chicken 65. And even though it's my total new fave, I still get the buffet every time I'm there, just for the variety! My mother-in-law is Indian, and of course nothing beats her cooking, but my husband says this is the closest thing to her cooking that he has found in the US. And I would have to agree. So yummy! Oh great. Now I'm drooling.

Located in an upscale and relatively new shopping center, Wok N Fire goes to great lengths to make a memorable first impression. The huge Buddha statue at the entrance is very welcoming, and the interior décor changes with varying color. This is a grand place for a romantic dinner or for parties. Three main types of cuisines were available - Stir fry, Sushi, and Thai style. My wife and I shared a pad Thai and a vegetable curry dinners, and they were good, though we did not get an authentic Thai flavor. But the food was tasty. The calamari appetizer was the best, just fried to perfection. Wok N Fire is a great place for dining.

Last night 1/24/18 eat at Oishi Sushi for the first time. Enjoyed it very much! Nice menu of sushi choices and other good Japanese snack food! Service very good and over all quality of food was good! Would recommend making reservations if you are going on the weekend as I heard people saying it was packed! Located next to mall with Whole Foods.
