Best Sushi around. In a small unassuming location. It's clean, but not fancy. There is a small sushi bar also a TV monitor for watching the Chef prepare and roll. Super fresh and flavorful. Good lunch specials. Will return here again. It appears they serve beer and wine now.

For a restaurant, location is everything. Unfortunately, this place doesn't have the greatest spot. It's in a non-descript strip mall next to a Melt and Old Navy. It doesn't have very noticeable signage either which probably explains why there are always so few people inside whenever we visit. It's too bad. Because this is one of the best, no, this is THE BEST restaurant in Mentor or anywhere east of Cleveland. My husband and I have eaten here many times and it's always fabulous. The interior is large with lots of seating and it has a nice atmosphere. It's always clean, quiet, and pleasant. The service is always fast and friendly. Our favorite thing to do is to order several appetizers (chicken satay, mussels, spring rolls and dumplings are among our favorites and are served with a variety of delicious sauces). We also get an order of fried rice - tonight it was the Pineapple Fried Rice which also includes huge chunks of tender chicken and large shrimp. We knew we were ordering too much food but everything is so delicious that it's hard to narrow it down any further and we always take home enough leftovers for another meal the next day. Getting two meals out of it made our $34 bill (which also included a glass of wine) seem like a bargain. They are not open for lunch but try it for dinner. They'll appreciate your business and you'll find a new favorite dinner spot.

I have been frequenting Hong To, since before they moved across the street. MANY yearsSaturday night, we ordered, a Rib combo, Wanton Soup, Crab rangoon, and Pork with Chinese vegetables. The soup was very yellow, but not too bad. The fried rice was so salty, it could not be eaten. the ribs were very fatty, and only 1 was able to be eaten. I called them on the phone as I live about 20 minutes away to explain my situation. A new cook I thought, or a problem in the kitchen. The lady on the phone, placed me on hold a couple of times, and asked if I wanted a free meal next time. I told her, that this meal could not be eaten. She said if I brought it back, she would credit my card. So I drove back. I was informed that the cook is not new and that nothing has changed. For $28 I could have eaten anywhere. My opinion, nothing is as it used to be and I will not be recommending this venue again.
