This was the best dinner I have had in quite a while. The special tonight was Alaskan halibut in lobster risotto and it was simplyoutstanding. The others in our party had great meals as well.We started with two small plate appetizers, crab rangoon and dragon wings. Both were excellent and just the right amount. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and attentive. Finished our evening with a shared coconut cake with ice cream dessert. It was a nice finish to a great meal. The restaurant is located downtown on Front St. Itâs definitely worth trying.

The life story of the chef/owner gives one insight into his passion for culinary excellence. The ambiance - decor - menu choices - servers/service - preparation and presentation are all top drawer. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience!

This is one of those carry-out Chinese restaurants you see in every city. They even have the same menu that all Chinese carry-out's have. That said, the veggies were fresh and stir-fried well, the beef was delicious, and the chicken-fried rice had nice pieces of chicken in it. This is a good place to get a carry-out meal to eat at your hotel.

We spent a week doing the UP and were in and out of Traveese City twice. We ate dinner here once and lunch once. The menu is the same for both meals, however there is a little bit of everything on the menu that any person should be able to find something to their liking. On our first visit I had the Udon steak bowl and my hubby had the Traverse City cherry salad with steak. Both were very good. I observed many of the entrees being served and everything was presented well and there was a lot of variety even though the menu Isn't huge. They do have a nice sushi selection. When we came back through town, before we grabbed our flight we decided to get lunch here. I had the avocado salad with salmon and my husband had the same cherry salad this time with chicken. The lemon basil dressing on the avocado salad is to die for. I loved the combination of corn, zucchini and goat cheese with the avocado. My husband again enjoyed his salad but did say he liked it better this time with the chicken. If we were back in town we would definitely eat here again.
