Family group of 3 for very good sushi. So - so tempura. Restaurant is clean and stylish with wait staff that did a nice job. We started with shrimp tempura. We found it a little bready -wondered if had been previously cooked and then reheated before it was sent out. We had been advised that the miso soup was best in town. Could be true. Mine was thick with miso and generous with tofu & seaweed. We tried 2 old favorites and 1 new sushi. The KU roll base was teriyaki chicken. The orderer liked it a lot, calling it like a teriyaki rice bowl. I got an old standby - for comparison - a Philadelphia roll. Fresh tasting and best of all, the cheese was evenly spread, so each bite was very consistent. Our 3rd choice was a Dragon roll with crab salad and eel. We agreed the crab salad was the best we've had, held together with minimal amount of mayo. We were disappointed in the amount of eel. This is Wichita so nothing is far away. We'll be back if events take us to the West side. Otherwise even with very good food, we'll stay with East side choices.

We have been going to this hidden gem for many years. Bo is the owner, and his wife does all the cooking. They moved here from California many years ago. The lunch menu is extremely affordable. All the menu items are delicious with a homemade appeal. One can choose the spice heat level on a range 1-5. The soups are also extraordinary. Try it, you will like it. Extremely clean & excellent service. No waiting, lots of room with easy parking outside.

Don't let the very small size of this establishment fool you in any way, because the food here is unbelievably good!! It's very authentic and favorable, plus the portions are big. I've tried about 90% of the menu so far and have liked everything that I've ordered. You also know that it has to be good because Harrison Ford, the actor, likes to dine here whenever he's in town and there's photos of him and the owners and employees on the wall!!! Highly recommended!!

Went here with our Sunday School class on a Sunday noon. They politely pushed four tables together for us and kindly split the ticket for us to pay as couples. The food was delicious and served promptly. Everybody seemed happy with quality and quantity! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Just had lunch here today for the first time. I explained to our waitress that we've never visited here before and she gave us some recommendations of things to try - we ended up ordering the steamed dumplings, egg rolls, char-broiled pork vermicelli noodles and a seafood noodle entree. Everything was delivered quickly to the table and the food was soooo good. Several waiters/waitresses checked on us during our meal and the serving sizes are very generous.I would definitely eat here again!

Ended up coming here because of a major wait at Red Robin (fries, amirite?)Seated immediately and service was quick. The food was good quality but not terribly exciting. The server was very attentive.I've been here before, and it's reliable. You may not be wowed, but you won't be let down.

Hidden behind a billiard parlor sign (with no pool tables in sight), this restaurant is impeccably clean and the pho superb. Beef and pork broth is available along with some of the best noodles around. The staff is extremely organized (e.g., sprouts and water on the bar at the ready) and the service is quick. There is a limited menu when compared with some Vietnamese restaurants but when you do one thing this well thereâs no need for a huge menu!

This has to be the best place for Thai food in the whole of Wichita by far, there's just nothing like it! The owner, who patrons for some reason call him Alex, is so friendly and welcoming, you feel right at home! The food itself is just super delicious, fresh calamari, the egg rolls are made fresh, their Thai basil chicken, garlic pepper chicken and their drunken noodles are so fresh and delicious. The family and I come here at least once a month, the consistency is great, as is the service and we will keep coming back.

We were visiting in Wichita and decided Japanese food sounded good and picked this restaurant because of the trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. I have eaten at a lot of Japanese restaurants all over the country and I would definitely put this one near the top of my list. The food was phenomenal. The serving sizes were excellent. The waitress and the chef did a great job and made the evening very fun. The vegetables were very fresh and cooked perfectly. He even cooked some extra vegetables and gave us some more when he saw that everyone was eating all of theirs. I have never had that happen. I had chicken but tried my friendâs steak and scallops and all tasted very fresh and were just the perfect temperature. They had a great liquor menu as well that was very diverse. I would highly recommend.WOW! Thanks for all the kind words! The staff loves the recognition!
