Great Asian-led street food served in a convenient healthy way. Our dedicated team of chefs have put together a great range of authentic Asian dishes with something for everyone.
Miserable staff, manager abrupt and raised her eyes to my 85 year old mum. Eggs cold and over cooked, same for bacon, hash brown ok and only saving grace was a nice warm sausage and cappuccino. To top it off I asked for a strong cup of tea for my mum, asked for a 2nd tea bag and manager said charge for a 2nd cup of tea, so that would be £5.10 for a cup of tea in a paper cup. Oh, cutlery plastic and not strong enough to cut through over cooked bacon.Hello there,We appreciate you making the effort to let us know about your experience. We believe this review is for Breakfast at Arlo's, not Chow Asian Kitchen, going by the food mentioned. Arlo's use our unit to serve breakfast from 6am - 11.30am.With that said, we are going to pass these comments on to Moto who operate this unit. It would be really helpful if you could let them know what day and roughly the time you ate by emailing [email protected] so they can look into the matter further. Many thanks,Matthew Kirby
A taste of Asia in the hsitoric market town of Wetherby. Oriental Restaurant and Bar with takeaway service available.
Arrived 5.30pm no draught beers/lager available, alarm bell strait away. Got seated in the recently refurbed. restaurant which is in my opinion lacking totally in atmosphere, (more like a motorway service station) the lighting is so bright I needed sunglasses. On to the food from the limited menu which was served on dinner plates not the usual way of put in the middle of the table so the you are able try different dishes. The food was indifferent and lacking flavour .Four mains,(not fillet steak) four bottled beers, 330mm and a bottle of wine well over £100 The staff are friendly if not organised. I would venture to say that the previous chinese restaurant on this site served food that was marginally better than this , and that wasn't anything to write home about. If it doesn't up it's game this place will go the same way as previous operators

Early supper (18:00) for 4 people at Thai Chokdee, Boston Spa.We ordered a range of favourites for starters - fishcakes, ribs, dumplings, som tam papaya salad, duck spring rolls. All excellent - beautifully aromatic. For main course we ordered a Penang curry, Chuu Chee and duck with tamarind sauce - again all very good.Singha beers and a good Chilean Merlot to wash it all down. Nice service, too.Would highly recommend and will no doubt return.

We were staying in the area and decided to have something a little different for dinner. We came across Yum Yum Thai and I am so pleased we did! The restaurant was quite quiet, but the staff were so welcoming and attentive without making you feel overwhelmed. The food was delicious- so fragrant! Highly recommend the massaman curry. There was a steady stream of people collecting takeaway, so that is also an option and clearly popular with locals. In response to those who have commented about the temperature- it was a little chilly on arrival, however the waitress asked if the temperature was okay as it had been highlighted by another couple, and assured us she had popped the heater on when they mentioned it- and sure enough it warmed up in no time at all! Portion sizes excellent- we only wish we could have taken them up on the offer to take some of the leftovers home with us! Thank you for a lovely evening and a delicious meal.

Our foursome made the reservation through the on-line booking service and this was confirmed promptly. On arrival we were shown to our table, which was upstairs and overlooking the car park. The table service was excellent and our orders for drinks and food were taken without delay. We had papadoms and pickles to start followed by Chicken Biryani, Lamb Biryani, King Prawn Puree and Tandoori Butter Chicken. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and presented although the Butter Chicken was a bit bland.Pricing was reasonable and came to under £17 per head. The restaurant is well within easy walking distance from all free parking in Wetherby.

A funky little restaurant & bar in Boston spa, a upstairs / downstairs affair with graffiti art, exposed brick and rusted steel, cocktails, fine individual wines, craft beers and amazing food, welcome to sophisticated quirkiness in a beautifully cute vill
I can't tell you just how much we enjoyed our meal at the Southbank restaurant recently. It was our first visit to Boston Spa, Yorkshire, and we found this place by chance. Everything here is just fabulous! The setting and the atmosphere go a long way to describing just how hard Darren and his staff have worked, to create a great dining experience. The place was 'rocking!'My wife Jackie is a pescatarian, and her meal was so very tasty, (so she told me!)As a 'dyed in the wool' carnivore, I followed the menu's advice, and chose the very reasonably priced 'Bedrock' steak. I had not come across this cut of meat before, apparently there are only two per animal. It was, without doubt, one of THE most juicy, tender and flavourful steaks I have ever eaten. So much so, on our way out, I made my way to the kitchen, in order to thank Darren personally. The service, by the way, was delivered by staff who were cheerful, informative and very professional. If you are anywhere within striking distance of Boston Spa, Yorkshire, are are looking for an amazing meal in an amazing restaurant, then look no further than Southbank............you will not be disappointed?

Firstly cannot fault the food it was really good. Couple things let it down. We weren't aware it was not licenced so ordered cokes but at £2.50 each was bit steep for cola from a bottle but suppose that's how they make money. I ordered a special of shimla and was brought shalimar. I didn't query at time as thought I'd misheard waiter but when I started eating it I wondered where the green beans were. I know I could have sent back bit then would have meant eating after others had finished. It was however tasty just not what I ordered. So I still have no idea how a shimla would taste. May have to try a Take Away next time.
