Ying Thai is a tiny restaurant located on a quiet side street in Westminster, MD. However, the food is excellent and the extremely polite and informative servers are a pleasure to interact with. Although my favorites are the crispy seaweed rolls, which I have never seen previously, and the pad thai noodles, everything we ordered was freshly cooked and had distinctive tastes. We will go back!!

My wife and I celebrated an early anniversary dinner at Sakura, Japanese Steak House. We started off with a fresh salad with the house dressing, followed by a bowl of hot, miso soup. Then our Hibachi Chef arrived and began the meal preparation show. Fantastic show and fantastic feed.

This kind of diversity in the local food choices is what keeps us begging for more. We just couldn't get enough. Well, actually we did get enough. We ate Westminster rolls until we had eel sauce coming out of our eyes, we just couldn't put the chopsticks down!Right off the bat, we were hit with some juicy seaweed salad, that definitely lived up to and above its name. It was great, I enjoyed every bite. But once the sushi came out, we were fighting for the last piece of every roll. It was great. The westminster roll was right on target, we both loved it. So close to home, it's nice to have something like this. But the fact that it's such good quality and so well done, that just tops it all off. Not to mention the establishment itself was amazing, the design, the ambience, definitely great for couples. Even if you're new to sushi, you'll find something you love on their menu. Honestly, I'm a little traditional. I can't go to a "Sushi" place and not get sushi. I despise those who go to a bona-fide sushi restaurant and get pork fried rice... but that all changed when I saw him bring out a plate of egg fu Yung for the table behind us...I almost broke my life long tradition and ordered some for myself! (Don't tell Karyn, I might get some next time)All in all, this is the pinnacle of quality local dining. They hit every key point, and the friendly waiter just made us feel even more at home. We'll definitely be seeing them again soon.

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend on a Sunday.We ordered a special roll from their menu and also two Ramen soups, one with pork and one with prawn.Total we spent over 50 USD. THe sushi itslef was very small, nothing "special" and to be honest, quite expensive.The soup was good, but both the pork and the shrimp were overcooked.Maryland is a state where is " a lot about" seafood, so I am not sure if they should serve overcooked seafood to be honest.I would not go back.

Who would have thought that there would be a legit Thai place in Westminster? There is and this is the place. The lunch menu is all that I have sampled but the portions are huge and are all very very tasty. The lunch special comes with a bowl of Tom Yum or salad... go for the TomYum. Very tasty. The decor is not all that but the food makes up for it easily. Very friendly service as well.

Again, the best Chinese in town.Food is the best.Service is the best.Prices are very reasonable.I have my favorites but I'm never worried about trying something new. It's all good.Try the Wanton Soup. You won't find any better.
