Authentic food, good prices. The veg dishes I had were prepared in the south Indian style and exactly the flavours I remember. There are several ways to enjoy their meals: Daily veg and non-veg lunch. Evenings and Saturdays you can choose from a selection of dosa and other specialties. Weekly package menus can be called or emailed in. This is enough for a week's worth of meals. Catering is also available for larger get togethers. The only reason I did not give full 5 stars is that the lunch containers are styrofoam which are not as easy to recycle in the region of Waterloo, you need to take them to the landfill. Next time I will bring along my own containers if that's not an issue for the staff.Keep in mind that while you can eat at Shiris Kitchen that this is primarily take-away and catering. This keeps your meals fresh and the small venue allows you to have a great price on your meal.Vegans, I would recommend calling ahead to confirm the veg special lunch of the day.

We've now been 3 times. Twice is was a home run, the third time it was off main hours and we may have had chef's with less experience - was still good, but just not quite as good as the other times. The food is incredibly fresh and is some of the best sushi I've had. My favourite was the deep fried tuna rolls.

My wife and I went to Thai Sun tonight for dinner. Itâs been a while we used to order take out from them sometimes. No problem walking in without a reservation on Sat night. Our waitress was very nice, and had a nice drink to start. We ordered Vegetable Spring Rolls to start a day they were delicious, very light and fresh tasting. For our mains we ordered a Chicken Pad Thai, and a Yellow Curry with Chicken. They were both fantastic, so yummy seriously my taste buds were dancing. Really nice presentation, and large servings. We had to take some leftovers home. Bill came to a very reasonable $55. I have no idea why itâs not busier as itâs a nice clean place uptown good location, and the food is excellent. I didnât remember the food being this good, maybe is better eating in?! A way better then Ben Than for example, which is always so busy. Weâll be back! Seriously highly recommend, check it out for tasty Thai food in Waterloo at a reasonable price

Just began my second year patronizing this hidden delight during lunch and am pleased to report the same fine results! Their lunch specials, offer a wide variety of options in their preparation with a choice of soup or salad, a crispy spring roll along with tofu, pork or chicken. Shrimp can be added for an additional $2.00. The food is nicely seasoned, with perfectly cooked protein and veggies where portions are ample and the value is exceptional at $9.99. Today, I opted for a Red Curry tofu that was tasty, served with delicious hot and sour soup, rice and a crispy roll. Service is always friendly and highly professional! Itâs one of my favorite finds here in the K-W area. Highly Recommended!

Good fresh sashimi. Excellent mackeral. Nice beer options, even Sapporo at a reasonable price. Plenty of good sushi options. Some great combinations. Loved the tempura, yakitori & various other skewered grilled meats & vegs, also very nice seaweed salad, and quite good, hot tonkatsu & chicken katsu. The baked salmon sushi was an interesting one, new to me, and quite delicious. Whatever wasn't one person's favourite, at least two others in our group of 4 loved. Extra wasabi & ginger, no problem. All in all, quality exceeded what I've usually found in this sort of place.I see a few reviews have complained about add-on items not included in the AYCE menu but whether it was confusing in the past I don't know; all I know is it's simple & clear now, and also that's pretty standard. Tea & water are included, not beer. A couple of special sashimi/sushi choices are clearly marked as extras: you could hardly mark them on the order sheets without noticing as they have their own section. Someone wrote that you're only allowed up to 5 items -- no, no, that's silly. They just prefer that you don't exceed 5 dishes per ordered round or your table is going to get totally coverered in platters all at once and you'll overload the kitchen too. One dish can be several rolls of sushi or several pieces of tempura, etc. Just save some room for the next round. The service is great, fast, attentive & helpful, so no worries. Two of our gang have lived in Japan and were not disappointed. It's not quite what you can get from a seaside town but it's pretty darn good for Waterloo! And the ice cream at the end was also terrific. Several options. One scoop or else extra $-- sorry, dessert-fiends. But I think you'll be so satisfied from everything being delicious that you can expect little room left to stuff in much dessert anyway.
Vietnamese food is varied, distinctive and unforgettable as it is comparatively low fat and high in carbohydrate, and ultimately healthy. Hungry for authentic Vietnamese food? Sen Cuisine loves to bring you good-quality Vietnamese food and are working to
Cannot believe that i can find the real vietnamese taste in Canada. Very delicious food at affordable price. Love wonton soup. Event better than many luxious Chinese restaurants. Just hope there is a branch in Montreal! I will come back in summer to try new dishes! Thanks. Welcome back anytime

The new owners have taken a good thing and made it even better. Sushi is excellent and the service is very friendly and efficient. Try the Legend Dragon Roll!I eschew the all-you-can-eat sushi places that are so prevalent these days. Sakura Island is an island of calm with excellent food. Recommended!

My family has been coming here for years. The local family that founded this place has been extremely successful with this restaurant and has been able to replicate it in 5 or 6 other mid-size cities in Southwestern Ontario. And there's good reason. The service is impeccable, the menu offers an enormous selection of delicacies from across southeast Asia, and the price is right.Excellent food. Just go!

We went here for dinner after the theatre. We had a lovely table by the front window. We started with the appetizer plate for two which was excellent . Our main courses were similarly wonderful. Service was attentive.

Bhima was definitely a find. Luckily I was not misled by a couple of scathing reviews that just preceded mine in this website and took the high average score for this place before (ad)venturing to Bhima. The decor and ambience reminded me of really cool restaurants we had dined in during our visit to Chiang Mai, Thailand a few years back. The service and the food were excellent. I left myself to the recommendation of the wait staff and they took care of me like a fellow traveler on the road to food nirvana. They got the quantity right, the beverage right, the main entree right and the dessert. The place is definitely worth a try, worth recommending to foodie friends and mostly importantly - a second visit.
