Things to do in Warrnambool
Gallo Asian Restaurant is the only place to get a taste of the authentic barbecue in Warrnambool. Crispy pork BBQ pork with a large range of Asian rice, noodles dishes available to fill the gaps. Take away/Dine in welcome
Amazingly good food. We got a Sauteed Beef, a Chicken Curry and a Nasi Goreng, and all 3 were superb, and cooked fresh. It was the nicest Nasi I have tried since visiting Indonesia.Highly recommended. thank you for your good feedback. We are very happy to hear you had a good time in our Restaurant

We went to this restaurant 10/12/16 for dinner. It was very busy but managed to find a table for two. The menu was extensive and we were initially taken back by the prices- a bit more than usual Chinese meals but on looking around the restaurant we saw very satisfied customers and substantial portions so we thought we would go ahead and order our meal, My husband had chicken and sweetcorn soup (plenty of chicken and corn and very flavoursome) and I had the combination soup. Plenty of vegetables, meats etc but lacked a flavoursome stock (perhaps a few drops of sesame oil or soy may have improved the flavour but enjoyable all the same. We ordered the Cantonese Chicken, special fried rice and steak and vegetables in a garlic sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed all of these and left well fed, satisfied and enjoying the meal. Will return.

The food here is fantastic, and lots of options to either build your own meal or go for their creations. They also cater to lots of dietary requirements. They pack their boxes full so if you're looking for lunch a small box will be just fine even though it looks small! Will be visiting again.
Not too many choices for good sushi in Warrnambool so they have the market covered. Good selection of sushi rolls and a quaint seating area if you wish, although they mostly do takeaway. If you're used to the competitive sushi prices in Melbourne this place will seem expensive, but the sushi is fresh and tasty with plenty of choices.

Having spent 15 years in China it is always with a degree of trepidation that I go to a Chinese restaurant in a country town. There is always the expectation that the food has been modified to suit the local taste and bears no resemblance to Chinese food as eaten in China. The Emperor's House was a pleasant surprise. We ordered fairly highly having eaten about mid afternoon and this was only a few hours later. As one of our party is a duck/chicken/squab carnivore we ordered the roast duck. A dish that I have rarely seen in foreign restaurants is the Lions Head meatball. In addition we ordered a bok choy and mushroom vegetable dish. The duck was OK as duck dishes go without being outstanding. The Lion's Head meatballs were excellent with just the right amount of Shanghai sweetness in the dish. The bok choy was outstanding with the mushrooms adding terrific taste very similar to what I have also eaten in Shanghai.I would happily eat there again.

My husband and I are having a weekend away and we dined at Khao Thai tonight. Our meals were the best Thai we have eaten in a long time. The ingredients used were really fresh and the flavours were perfect... we had stirfried Beef & Veges with Oyster Sauce and Penang Curry with steamed rice. The meals were a good size. Sadly we couldn't fit in dessert... The staff were really friendly and the service was good. We definitely dine here again when in Warrnambool.

Staying for one night locally & another establishment was recommended but was closed & we happened upon this by chance, lucky us, we both ordered chicken sweet & sour with sticky rice & an obligatory bottle of Chang, the food was red hot & well presented, only negative was the older guy taking the order took our drinks order then left the restaurant, had to approach the counter & request it again, that aside the food could not be faulted.

After a big day exploring the coast, we felt like a yummy, warm meal and Red Spoon delivered. The food was delightful and friendly, attentive staff. We had the vegetable spring rolls for entree followed by pumpkin curry, satay noodles and bbq chicken. No problem getting Vegan options. Happy kids and happy parents. Thank you. Dear Marita, We're so happy that you enjoyed your meal with us after a long day on the Great Ocean Road. We host many, often tired families, turning up at 9pm after a longer day on the road than they'd expected and your experience is exactly what we aim to achieve for all of them. Thanks so much for taking the time to post your review and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday. Kind regards Dominic.

Spending a few days in Warnambool and wanting some Thai food and the Cattleya Thai was open for dinner, Very welcoming by the staff when seated and the food was absolutely delicious. Service is super fast and servings are quite large all at a very reasonable cost.

It's hard to find real Asian street-style food outside of Asia. Those unique fresh, zesty flavours and often...Lost in translation. But step into The Liebig - Warrnambool's new Asian street-style restaurant - and you arrive on the street of Thailand.Or Jap
