Reviews on Asian food in Viti Levu, Fiji. Fiji's largest island, home to capital Suva, offers some wonderful beaches. Palm-fringed Natadola Beach, reputed to be one of the best beaches in the world, is a picture perfect crescent of powdery sand leading to dramatic cliffs. Coconuts hang overhead and the striking azure lagoon entices swimmers.

In the last three years we noticed that the level of food and service in this restaurant keeps getting worse. Clearly the management must have delegated this restaurants to people who lack basic training and competences to run it. We ordered our meals clearly explaining that we had a special dietary requirement and clearly indicated what we don't eat. We explicitly asked the staff who took our order to check if anything we ordered contained the ingredients we don't eat, she said "no". We realised later that she couldn't care less about our requirements and just gave us the answer she thought we wanted to hear. When we ordered the grilled eggplants, we were told that preparation would take 30 minutes and we said this was fine for us. However, after waiting for so long, we received our grilled eggplants completed covered in tuna flakes (one of the ingredients we don't eat). We complained and asked to talk to the manager. The alleged manager came to talk to us and listed when we explained the problem we had. We explained that we were extremely disappointed that our waitress did not take our instructions seriously and that after waiting for so long we couldn't even eat our order. She said "so sorry madam, your waitress forgot". I told her that I found her explanation "she forgot" insufficient because by forgiving about their clients' special requirements they could actually kill people (if they had allergies). She kept repeating "so sorry madam". So, I repeated again that I wasn't satisfied with her reaction and that nothing showed that they were going to fix this problem, but the only thing the "manager" could say was "sorry madam", unable to provide any relevant reply to all my objections.I cannot understand how this person could have the responsibility to manage a restaurant. I find this level of mediocrity and lack professionalism absolutely unacceptable. We definitely won't go back. The staff clearly lacks basic training and competences, and I strongly doubt that this will ever improve.Food used to be fine but now it's just average and not worth the price (this is one of the most expensive restaurants in town).

Firstly, the food is sensational. Secondly, the staff are fun, professional, polite and friendly. We were a group of 4 and ordered 4 dishes as well as their Special Fried Rice and shared the plates. Highly recommended (especially the Sizzling Pepper Beef - YUM!)

One of the best Indian restaurants in Suva. The venue isn't as cosy and intimate as some of the other upmarket Indian restaurants in town, but the food is excellent. Watch the hors-d'oeuvre platters, they're huge. Last time four of us ordered the platters to start, we took the main courses home in doggy bags.Thanka a lotSee you again

What's not to love; Delicious food relaxed atmosphere, exceptional service by Taniela and Akeai our Teppan chef. Enjoyed tuna sashimi and teppanyaki fish, lamb and shrimps incredibly flavoursome dishes. Warm sake served delicately balanced aftertaste. Reservation a must, expensive but a worthwhile experience. Definitely will return.

Overlooking the spectacular lagoon swimming pool, Feast Restaurant is the place to be for breakfast and dinner. With an exciting show kitchen built around the restaurant's centre piece wood fired pizza oven, Feast offers a tapestry of bright decor and cul
I can highly recommend âFeastsâ for dinner. The buffet has a large selection of Indian dishes with a some western food options including cook to order proteins, pasta and pizza bar and seafoods. Chefs Lawrence and Sheihk, and their staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome surprised us by preparing a spiced pineapple salad we had enjoyed at another Sheraton restaurant.

Food is definitely great. The Kokoda was so full of flavors. The downside is the staff. They need some training in customer service. They do not care much about customers and they prefer to chat around the counter. Otherwise, not a bad place (albeit small in size)

If youâre looking for simple, healthy, local food at a budget price - this is your place. We tried the teriyaki beef (thinly sliced, tender and perfectly flavoured, served with great stir fried veges), chicken fried rice (spot on) and Singapore noodles (flavoursome noodles, good selection of local veges). All cooked and served from the heart by the lovely ladies at the back of the place. No alcohol. Recommended cheat eat.

We spent one night at the restaurant and the beach side setting and weather was perfect. The menu had a decent choice but limited gluten free options without seafood. It has been the most expensive restaurant we have visited. They certainly looked after us though. Go check it out.
