Reviews on Asian food in Vina del Mar, Valparaiso Region, Chile. The most popular beach resort in the country, Vina del Mar is within reach of both Santiago and Valparaiso. Vina teems with tourists during peak months December, January and February, despite Antarctic currents that make swimming a formidable prospect. Renaca is the hippest spot to sink onto the sands. The Fonck Museum and Quinta Vergara provide insights into the area's recent and ancient history, archaeology and natural history. Stroll along Avenida Peru and take in stunning ocean views.

Visited Tomodachi after a terrible experience with seafood in nearby Concón. We had the restaurant to ourselves and the owner conversed with us throughout our meal, explaining his struggles over the years to create authentic Japanese cuisine and introduce it to a gastronomical culture that is still finding itself. Working with Salmon, Tuna, Octopus and Shrimp, Tomodachi creates a great palate of flavors that is far above the rest of the pack. We enjoyed a selection of fresh nigiris combined with locally-sourced microbrews. Outstanding!

Sushi Home siempre un paso adelante
Indeed, a bit pricey, but if you order smart, you can stretch your dollar and get a very satisfying meal. The Sushi was really delicious and overall, I would say this place is a must try for anybody who's a fan of Sushi and Japanese cuisine!

I walked in this restaurant at lunch time after a quick business meeting visit in Vina. It seemed attractive with a 25% discount paying cash (efectivo). Service was slow, I ordered a miso soup as a first course, but i was brought in the shrimp rice first. After paying more attention the waitress brought the miso soup, and to my surprice it was the first miso soup that I had to have with a silver spoon!! as you know the miso soup if contains sulphites goes dark if reacts with the silver. PLEASE GET THE PROPER SPOONS!!! Second course was bland, asked for low sodium soy sauce, they did not have, the discount it was not such as the bill reflected an intricate maze of dicounts. discount was not such. took for ever to bring the bill. I will not go back here.
