I visited this restaurant following the recommendation of a vietnamese friend in Paris. I was looking for a place to have a good meal on the way to chateaux de la Loire while trying to have a break from tasty but fat french food... Before visiting France, my last trip was in Vietnam, in Saigon and Hanoi. Surprisingly, I was able to feel the same tastes & perfumes in this restaurant situated in a small street of Vendôme city center. Nems, Bobun, spring rolls were just perfect ! The owners were very friendly and speak somewhat understandable english... This place is clearly a no-brainer.

This is your typical asian buffet restaurant, with tons of different types of meals to pick up, the staff is quick to top up the empty trays with hot food, the main problem being the language barrier, most of the staff being very limited in their usage of french. The bill is no great surprise, the whole restaurant and the toilets are very clean.

The outside of this restaurant has seen better days, but as it was only a short walk from my hotel and there was little choice, I decided to give it a try. Entering, there were only two other diners in a large restaurant and I felt as if I had wandered into one of those reality tv shows where an expert is called in to rescue a failing establishment.Undoubtedly, the restaurant could do with a makeover, but the food was excellent. The meal was a "buffet à volante" and there was a great range of chinese food on offer. I had arrived early, so it was all fresh and delicious and as I tasted everything, I ate far too much. The cost including a beer and coffee came to less than â¬25 which I consider to have been excellent value. I was there on Sunday, mid week it would have cost â¬5 less. As time passed the restaurant began to fill up and was around half full when I left. There is free wifi and the toilets were clean. There is also a good range of chinese dishes for take away. This is one of the few places I know where it is worth ignoring the outside appearance, but not a place to impress guests.
