Although not impressive from the road nor from their generous parking lot, once inside is discovered an outstanding international buffet. Spotless and well staffed with attentive cheerful young people, awaits a wonderful and generous and very delicious buffet. My favorite area was the sushi table where there were dozens of freshly prepared interesting offerings. Nice bottled beer selection-only $3.50 a beer. Nothing skimp on the desert tables including tiramisu and plan. Bargain is even better with senior discount. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

The food is uniformly quite good at this traditional Chinese restaurant. The crispy fried fish and shrimp dishes in particular were excellent. The decor looks like it has not been updated since 1986, and is in dire need of modernization. In any event, the food makes it well worth a visit, especially with a large group.

This restaurant is one of 3 successful locations. One by Columbia University, another one in Little Neck right off Northern Blvd and finally this no-frills order off the counter(plastic utensils/casual serveware) delivers on price and generous portions. Great for the hungry hard working students in the area. For nicer table service, go to the Little Neck location. There's also more choices to their menu but the Uniondale location is really casual just as good as the Columbia University location.Don't worry if you think Szechuan cuisine is spicy cause there's plenty of dishes that are not and quite yummy too. Hot spicy dishes are noted with a little red pepper symbol so you are well informed. Please check out the menu pictures for you to decide what to order. I also submitted some pictures of some yummy choices too! Happy Eating and I'll see you around the table from time to time!

Shiro of Japan is a Long Island tradition for hibachi cook in front of you dinners. I have been going here for years. It has out lasted numerous other chain hibachi restaurants that have opened and closed in the neighborhood. Itâs the same menu they have always had with the onion soup, ginger salad and hibachi entree with rice and vegetables. The live entertainment is the chef cooking your dinner.

We arrived and it was very busy with a wedding in one room and a full dining room. The host was very polite and we only had a short wait.The food is always head and shoulders above any other Indian cuisine in the NYC metro area. The servings are plentiful and even the mango lassi are better than anyplace else. Well worth the trip for us!
