Visited with my wife & 3 year old daughter. The staff were really friendly and the food was great. Chicken tikka dhansak, chicken madras, chicken korma & sides - all top notch. Interesting choice of pictures in the restaurant (a unicorn & another of 3D planets) but none the less a good meal at a nice curry house. Thanks Fatimas

We have been coming to the Isle of Wight for a number of years and always make time for a Sunboâs, it never fails to impress. The service is always pleasant and the food is first rate. Our family really enjoy the menu and we hope to continue coming and enjoying a âSunboâsâ for many more years to come.

We had been for a quick drink that turned out to be rather longer, and by the time we were headed home were very hungry. We passed this takeaway and on impulse went in an ordered. Had chicken and sweetcorn soup which was ghastly. Obviousle reheated, thick and tasteless. The mixed starter was poor and very small. The sweet and sour was bright red and looked radioactive. I hate to think what made it that colour. The beef was inedible, cooked and recooked in thin strips with a batter coating and tasted awful. No redeeming features, definitely will not return.

Firstly, the service was excellent - one man, who apologised to us that two other servers had called in sick, did a great job. The view is stunning, but the food wasnât special. Starters of Vegetable Samosas were miniature and the Mixed Tapas unimpressive. Paneer Marsala was way too sweet, the Meen Moli monkfish was nice and others enjoyed Murgh Madhuri and Special Mix.
