Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Torquay. Mild ocean breezes, sandy beaches and swaying Torbay Palms give the small English town of Torquay a distinctively Mediterranean feel. More than just a beach spot, Torquay boasts an enormous coastal aviary and the famous Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves. Agatha Christie spent most of her life here, and the city is now home to multiple film companies. With such a rich literary history, Torquay may be the perfect place to finish writing that novel or screenplay, or just to relax with a good mystery.

We've visited several times before, but called in on the off-chance for a late evening meal. We were not disappointed. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff are amazing - friendly and knowledgeable. The food, as usual, was outstanding and very good value for money. I cannot praise it highly enough.

I had a carry out from this place last night 12th,and to be truthful l was not impressed at all. My wife had chicken sweetcorn soup which you could have papered the walls with, and the rice for my chicken curry was undercooked. The curry itself was not too bad but I've tasted better. I'm not usually one to complain but we were looking forward to it and it didn't tick all the boxes. We won't be back.

really disappointing place. well overpriced for what you get. reastaurant empty but waiting time to lomg.the whole place needs updating. The young lady at the bar was polite but felt very fake. I really would like to leave a positive review so others can enjoy whatever it is but could not justify that in this place

Having had Okonomiyaki a few years ago when I went to Japan I was amazed to find somewhere local that served the dish! I went along with the family and wasnât let down. Okonomiyaki tasted as good as I remember it - Also very friendly and efficient service. Authentic Japanese too (We will be back for more!)

We regularly have take away from here and have also eaten in recently. The food is of an excellent standard. Freshly prepared and delicious. There are some more unusual dishes, as well as old favourites. It is very good for vegetarian and vegan options, great when you have a mixed group with different dietary requirements.

Authentic Thai food at reasonable prices to dine here or take away (collection only). Free evening street parking directly opposite. Bring your own bottle.
Before we start, please dont misunderstand, the food we eventially had here was lovely. However, the first night we tried to eat we were told there were no tables at anytime of the evening/night (okay, you might assume it's just because it's good and busy - fair enough) The second time....with the restaurant half empty, we were again told "No tables for 4........only two tables of two". With teenage kids this was not a problem but we had to suggest the split ourselves. It's as though customers are more an inconvenience than welcome!?!?We then spent the entire meal beside a table of 8 left empty whilst watching several parties get turned away like we were the first night!Just leaves you wondering if the owners are in a business they actually like??? Oh and for the record this is an unlicensed restaurant (something we didn't know until trying to order our drinks!)To end....remember the food is lovelyHi, so glad you enjoyed the food, unfortunately in spite of how it seemed , all the tables were booked for later that evening. We would love to squeeze more people in but might have to rush them to finish ( realistically you have to allow a people a couple of hours when you have a meal). The food is cooked fresh and takes time to prepare. We also have to allow people a reasonable amount of time if they are a little late for their reservation.Sorry you were caught out about not having a license. Our website says BYOB and its mentioned in many trip advisor reviews

We went there just after 5pm on a Sunday. Parking in Torquay a nightmare - parked on 9th floor of multi-story Fleet - lift out of order!! Very nice people but very slow service.Thank you so much. We make every thing fresh. Next time we'll do our best.

TRUE TEST OF NEPAL AND INDIA. Next door to Central Cinema.
Absolutely sensational food! The reviews are correct they are quiet inside but the delivery service is non stop! We found the price average it was £26 per person with starter main and drinks. One person serving so itâs a little slow but we werenât in a hurry and it was well worth the wait. Itâs a great opportunity to try Nepalese cuisine and traditional Indian at the same time. Well worth seeking out!
