Welcome to the award-winning Raj Pavilion Restaurant. We understand one of life's real pleasures is a good, satisfying meal. So let us tempt you with an unrivalled range of authentic & imaginative traditional indian foods. Our food is cooked to the highes
We had a nice meal here, good value and pleasant atmosphere. Food was very nice mostly, dishes were quite generous portions and very tasty, but one dish was very oily - when we commented on this, it was suggested we could have asked for it with less oil - but how were we supposed to know it was oily before it arrived? It wasn't mentioned in the description! Overall, a good meal and we will be visiting again.

A good range of Chinese and Thai dishes, plenty for veggies. I recommend the salt chicken, lemon chicken, duck dishes, singapore noodle (they offer all types of noodle), prawn dishes, bean curd, desserts. Honeymoon do delivery and a Sunday Buffet for £12 a head. Very friendly service and an excellent choice of drinks from beer, wine, prosecco, liqueurs.

Lots of different oriental food and curries all in containers ready to go up and help yourself. Soup and crispy duck courses on offer too. Gets a little bit messy around the serving dishes and itâs okay if you donât mind getting up and down. It certainly isnât a relaxing evening meal for a chat. Waiters serve drinks and clear your used plate away very quickly and efficiently. Fresh plate for every choice. Dessert on offer. Apple fritters ice cream fruit salad and gateau

Family meal to celebrate 70th birthday. Pleasant staff. Fresh white table linen Good service with all our dishes arriving together. Extensive menu at reasonable prices. Unfortunately our evening was spoilt by the arrival of a large group who were seated on tables just behind us and who were VERY noisy, which made conversation on our table very difficult. We therefore decided not to stay for desert and coffee. We would visit again but ask to be seated on a table in a quiet corner.Hello lighthousesunset,Thank you for the time you took to review us. We are glad that you enjoyed the experience you had on your recent visit and we look forward to your next one!Kind regards,The team at Alishan

I wrote a review a couple of months back that something had changed in the food quality. We again order another Takeaway Jalfrezi this week with poppadums and chutneys, lamb chops etc.Firstly, no chopped onion mix with the chutneys which has always been the case. Secondly, no salad with the lamb chops - again, always a given. Finally, the Jalfrezi was even worse than last time. So watery and weak in flavour. Things have really gone downhill.I have loved this place for years but unfortunately will now be taste testing around the general area. So sad, as this used to be really top Indian food.

Your local Thai we aim to provide Tonbridge with the most authentic Thai food and the friendliest service.
Went with a friend as my husband refuses to come due to the service charge. It says discretionary but why put on bill. I understand if you have a table of 10 as you need staff to get everything ready at same time but when a table for 2 why is 10% added? I think a tip is up to you to leave what you want, and in many cases you might get more but putting it on the bill is a bit rude really. I think you should leave that off. We didn't leave anymore than the bill whereas without the service charge we might have left more. Lovely food but... hi and thank you for the feedback,Yes service charge is at your discretions so it is within your rights to ask us to remove it which we will happily do it for you if we knew. Service charge is something that we decided to do in the last year or so like most restaurants nowadays. If its a table for 2 or 10 people staff will still have to get the table ready and serve customers the same so it is not the amount of customers for table because waiting staffs will still have to do thier job.To be honest I dont think this is rude and it is becoming common practice in the restaurant trade but like I said earlier we are happy to remove it if asked. We dont expect or demand anything extra from customers because service is included already.its a shame that your husband won't come to eat with us because service is at your discretion and can be removed if asked but this is his decision. thank you again for the feedback.

We tried Gurkha Planet for dinner last night for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! The food is completely delicious and the service attentive and warm. We have eaten Nepalese food in London previously and this was even better, I feel really lucky to have this restaurant nearby. We tried a selection of starters (the momo sauce was soooo good, we practically licked the plate), the naan we had with the mains was one of the best Iâve ever tasted and the mixed dal with zimbu spice was so delicious. We will be back very soon! Thank you for such an enjoyable time.
