A craving for Thai and a decision of too many burgers led us here, just off the main drag. Probably repurposed Pizza Hut. Normal menu, decent preparation. Pad Thai could have used more tang, some nuts. The basil chicken was good, but again, could amp up the flavor. Service a bit slow, I think there may not be much of a labor pool in The Dalles! Moderate cost. Three stars for me is entirely acceptable, just about what you expect.

This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. We stopped for dinner after shopping and was very surprised at the wonderful food we received. I had enough to take home for another meal. The waitress was great and attended to all of our needs.

First time visit. We were a bit skeptical as we drove up, but wanted Chinese food. Interior is dated and has deferred maintenance, but the food was surprisingly good; even the best around. We shared one entree and still took a bit home. Price was a pleasant surprise. Lunch specials looked to be even better. This is certainly a better value than anything in Portland. It is now a go-to place when in the area.

Surprise visit to daughter and family. This was their suggestion. Great show on the grill by the chef as he whirled and twirled to entertain before and as he prepared our meals. We all ordered filet mignon with various combos with scallops or lobster or shrimp. The meals were all great and superbly prepared. None of us left disappointed.
