I love that Texarkana has so many great restaurants and Golden Palace with its great Chinese buffet is definitely one of them. And I should know because as an ex-New Yorker, there was always a great Chinese restaurant in almost every neighborhood in the city. Staff very friendly food is hot and plentiful a little bit of everything crab with cheese sauce is very good, shrimp, cooked many different ways, mushrooms, stuffed crab,. Very nice casual place to eat lunch or dinner. Easy to have a conversation quite but they do have TV's playing. I like them and am a returning customer.

My father lives over seas and was visiting the US for father's day. We chose to eat here the following week after they were not so busy. We ordered the couples dish with lobster,shrimp,steak and chicken. The lobster was the best I have had in Texarkana , of course I ordered a cosmopolitan but their signature cherry blossoms martini was superb! I actually brought my friend back here the following week for lunch and another round of their signature martini . IM TRULY A FAN OF THIS PLACE

China Inn is one of several Chinese restaurants in Texarkana. I like how they have a drive thru window to pick up your order and take it home. Most restaurants don't have this convenient feature. The food is good and inexpensive, compared to other restaurants. Service is friendly, too. The building is not new, and the location is not the greatest, since it's a distance south of Interstate 30 on State Line Avenue, but all things considered, it's worth a visit every now and then. China Inn is on the Texas side of State Line Avenue, and is more than a mile south of I - 30. After traveling through the intersection with Texas Boulevard, and going beyond Walgreen's, you will spot it in the vicinity of Slim Chickens.

This place can be easily missed due to its location on one of the busiest streets in Texarkana, but if you want to try something different and delicious put this place on your list. I prefer the smoothies over the teas, but they are both great. They have some of the best fried rice in Texarkana. They tend to run a little slow and that is the only thing that keeps them from getting an excellent rating from me.

I had the pleasure of dinning here the other night and was pleasantly surprised. I did not have high expectations as Texarkana is relatively small and far from the sea. The sushi and sashimi was very good. Aside from the classics, the chef has a relatively large selection of rolls as in house creations. For those who are not fans of sushi the restaurant offers other traditional asian meat and seafood dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant and the washrooms were clean. Probably the best place for sushi in town!
