I prefer temple city location vs san gabriel. Here you order, take a seat and wait for the food. Place is nice and clean, you grab your own hot tea or ice water. I always order the chicken bun with vermicelli less noodles more salad no bean sprouts. It's flavorful, fresh and healthy. Staff are always friendly.
Most entrees were between $9-12. Small portion of rice were included. Good sized portions. We had orange chicken and the house special cumin lamb. Both were good. Close to UCLA medical center. Parking available on the street or parking lot very close by. They do party sized dishes. Open seven days a week.
Good ramen place. Get to choose different noodles and broth. Serving is very generous especially for the large bowl. Okinawa chasu is tasty, a must try! Friendly staff and fast service. Won't mind coming back for more!

Following a glowing review by Jonathan Gold in the LA Times, we've tried Seafood Palace a few times. This is your by now relatively standard San Gabriel Valley Cantonese Chinese seafood restaurant. The house special crab, lightly fried with dried garlic is an exceptional dish. The other items we tried were very good, but not particularly different from other similar places.

Went here at the recommendation of a friend and was it delicious. We ordered a large plate of sashimi and a large boat of Sushi. The sashimi was absolutely the freshest and tastiest I have had in a long time. The tuna, yellowtail, and salmon are my favorite. They were as fresh as could be, no fishy smell or taste. The texture was perfect. Plenty of wassabi and pickled ginger too. The boat of Sushi had many different nigiri and rolls. The presentation was beautiful and the taste did not disappoint. Everything on the boat was delicious. There were at least four different rolls and many nigiri with raw fish. I'm usually not a big fan of fancy rolls, but these we all beautiful and the taste combinations were perfect and well balanced. To finish the meal off we each shared a tradition Japanese combination plate. I shared the mixed Tempura and beef teriyaki steak. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these dishes too. The teriyaki steak was grilled to perfection (medium rare) and covered with a teriyaki sauce that allowed the steak taste to come through. The tempura was perfectly battered and fried to perfection. The oil the tempura was cooked in was very clean as there were no unexpected taste or smell. It was perfect. Everyone else in our group was equally satisfied with their meal. This was my first visit to this restaurant, it is quite large and was able to accommodate our large group. This is not a quiet intimate restaurant. There are two TV monitors on the wall. The menu is quite large and seemed overly complex and overwhelming. The price is typical or slightly better than expected for a Japanese restaurant with food of this quality. It is the quality of the food that is hard to beat and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely like to visit here again.

Only order the marinated bulgogi or the kalbi; everything else is flavorless. The flame on our grill went out three times. Poor ventilation in the restaurant, very smoky. Servers were inattentive and did not help cook the meat, as waiters in most Korean barbecue restaurants do.

We have tried many restaurants, but found few we want to treat our friends. This one is on our short list. I like the Chinese decorations and music in particular, and enjoy the presentations of dishes and the taste of the food here. The price is $$-$$$, but it was worthwhile when our guests were impresses and I was proud as a hostess. We visited the place on 2/10/2019, will return even though it's about 50 miles from where we live.

We had to arrive at 4:30 pm to get a table for an early dinner on Motherâs Day. No reservations accepted. Parking is very crowded in the lot but they have valet parking. There is also parking on the streets if lucky to find one. We had a party of six and ordered the Family Dinner for $54 which included 5 dishes - House Seafood Soup or Sweet and Sour Soup, Clams with Hot Spicy Sauce, Kung Pao Chicken, Sauted Pea Sprout, and a Steamed Whole Fish (Tilapia). Our main dish was the Newport Special Lobster (market price). A medium lobster was sufficient for our party of six. Everything was fresh and delicious! The lobster was all gone but we took the spicy lobster sauce and leftover rice home to make a fried rice dish tomorrow. This was a very good value for a lobster dinner! In a per person basis, each person cost approximately $50, including tip.

Since my trip to Thailand where I tasted fresh authentic Thai food. I haven't been able to enjoy Thai food back in the U.S. I was ruined. Everything tasted just like a poor imitation of real Thai food. But this restaurant has been the closest to authentic Thai food. The food we ordered was fresh, tasty and the service was good. I recommend this restaurant.
