You turn up compile your meal complete with sauces and oils and they cook it for you. You can go back and try again for seconds or even thirds and the hostess is wonderful and determined you will enjoy yourself.

Went with a friend for a quick meal after movies. No one else in restaurant that should have set off alarm bells, we were waved over to help ourselves to any table, they couldnt even be bothered seating us. It was a public holiday so were were expecting to pay a surcharge which was the first thing they told us when the menus were brought over. We chose and placed our order to be told rice was an extra charge. I expect to pay for rice when i buy takeaway but not when dining in. We left and went to our fav thai restaurant in Hastings where rice is included . Usually service at Thai restaurants is fantastic but not here

Looking for some Thai food while visiting Havelock North. Choose this location and glad we did. We didnât have a reservation so we were seated way in the back even though there were empty tables. We ordered simple main dishes (chicken & noodles and beef with vegetables) and they were very good. We waited over 30 minutes for our dinners, we werenât in a hurry but that was rather long. Service was good, the hostess was very personable. we would return if we lived in the area.

Wish we had visited earlier - now gutted season has ended it was an amazing taste experience! Starting with Crispy Asian Pancakes and Market fish, prawn, cucumber Asian herb salad followed by Beef Cheek and Pork Belly in total food heaven - wow! Unfortunately no room for dessert on offer however tempting........staff were awesome and total experience amazing........roll on next season we live so close and if this is what we can expect next season has true potential to be our local go to - counting down the days. Well done guys.

Er Dee Wa Cafe is an informal restaurant that serves a variety of Asian dishes, although its initial focus is Thai food. Many of the recognizable items are Chinese in origin, though. Importantly, the food is well prepared and nicely presented. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor tables: the terrace is particularly pleasant if weather permits. Group events are also quite nice on the terrace. We have enjoyed the crispy Calamari, the Spring rolls, the Thai pork ribs, the sleeping duck. the garlic prawns and the sesame bok choy, among others. The restaurant offers beer and wine, as well as a number of non-alcoholic beverages. Service is efficient, although at time a bit rough.Thank you for your great comment.appreciated

The piku cocktail bar is now open. Large selection of cocktails and Japanese whiskey. The inside area is small but they have large outside seating, this will be great in the summer. Great staff and service, good environment, great drinks and access to wonderful food. I will use again and highly recommend
