The community is located in the Santa Clarita Valley. Often incorrectly referred to as part of the city of Santa Clarita, the community does not actually fall within the Santa Clarita city limits and is instead in an unincorporated area. It has many new suburban one- and two-story houses in new developments, with a median value of $1,034,600. Stevenson Ranch encompasses about 6.4 square miles (17 km). About 1,000 acres (4.0 km) are set aside as parks, recreation areas, and open space. Stevenson Ranch is set in the foothills of the Santa Susana Mountains and lies west of Interstate 5. One of the newer communities in the Santa Clarita, which was ranked number 18 of the top 100 places to live by Money Magazine in 2006, This area backs up to the historic, oil-mining town of Mentryville, founded in 1875. A master-planned community, it was approved by the county in 1987. The population was 17,557 at the time of the 2010 census.

been awhile since I've been in this one and they've changed their menu - which is to say they have fewer choices - this is both good and bad - the atmosphere is fine - not too much change, but the staff is very friendly, the facilities are very clean, no dirty tables, can bring your family, - the entrees are served fresh, the food was fine but I don't really recall anything that was outstanding - and I mean this in a positive way. I guess we came just because I haven't been here in awhile - should be okay

We have eaten at Mandarin Wong's on several occasions. Our most recent visit was a disappointment. The Three Flavors Sizzling Rice Soup, the small version, had a few shrimp but no beef and very little chicken. The Three Flavors Delight had very generous portions of all three but the flavor didn't seem quite right. We'll go again, hoping this trip was an outlier.

The sushi was terrific... The rolls we had were the Las Vegas, Hurricane, Honey, Fantasy & California. They all tasted super fresh and had great flavors. The spicy pork was very salty and the ginger dressing on the house salad was very bland. The service was not good. Our drinks were never refilled and we were never asked how things were. We had to flag down a server a few times, for various items we needed. It was a busy night, they certainly needed more help in the dining room.

Located in the shopping area across the street from the Stevenson Ranch Walmart, parking is easy. A small place it has seating indoors. You enter and pick the choices that you want on your bowl. A small bowl goes for about $10. The servers are helpful and you pay before sitting down. You serve yourself drinks from a fountain. The place is clean and servers friendly. My only complaint is that the servings are smaller than other poke places .

If you've not been to Yamato's, you should try it out. The preparation of the food in front of you is very entertaining. The chef's have a great sense of humor and are deft with the spatulas and knives. The onion volcanoes are super fun to see. Food is hot and tasty. Not cheap, but not outrageous, either. It's a nice departure from the normal dining experience and would recommend for families or parties for which people want an enjoyable, entertaining, different experience.

Food is a modernized Chinese cuisine. A little on the pricey side for Chinese food however this is an Americanized version of that cuisine. The hip up to date decor is a big upgrade from your typical cheap Chinese restaurant. This chain elevates Chinese cuisine to a different level of experience. For value you definitely are paying for the decor with your meal. Food is average but presented very stylishly. Again decor! Am sure they do well providing a good dining experience by titilating the senses with their high end overall presentation. Still I would recommend this place for the experience.

Been driving past the place for years and heard it was good, but finally got to try it. Everybody was right, this place is great. They have a great lunch combo for under $8 that includes an entree, egg roll, fried rice and Chinese cole slaw. My favorite is Kung Pao Chicken. Eat in or Take out...no delivery service.

I really enjoyed some of the fresh for the day offerings on the blackboard. Very fresh and tasty rolls with real crab and lobster.
