I've never experienced such rude and ignorant wait staff ever. We ordered the bbq combo which they cook your meal at your table. To say the worst, they just threw the meats on the grill and walked away with the tongs so we couldn't flip the meat nor take it off the grill so it actually burned and then they try to blame it on us. Pathetic. When we asked for our water to be refilled they acted like we're disturbing them. Bottom line, stay away from this place unless you want to be disrespected and treated like crap.

We have been to House of Chan many times. It has always been consistently great food on every visit. The staff have always been very attentive and friendly. It is always clean and neat. We love the won-ton soup and egg rolls. The prices are very reasonable and the main course's are always excellent.

There isn't much to this strip mall restaurant. In fact, with the blacked out windows, you're not sure what you're walking into and you certainly won't be blown away by the decor. It's pretty minimal and small. But the focus is clearly on the food. The ingredients are fresh and well presented and taste great. It is a bit pricey but worth the money for crab, shrimp and lobster that both smell and taste good. The waitstaff is no-nonsense but not curt and the sushi chefs are serious but pleasant. This will be my go-to place when I'm craving sushi.

Have tried many other Chinese restaurants, Chengs is by far the best I've had. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Before I get into the food, I must commend them for having one of the nicest, cleanest, and most comfortable chinese restaurant atmospheres compared to most. Plenty of nice booths and tables. Food is always super hot and fresh quality ingredients every single time my mom and I visit. My mother cannot eat overly salty food, and this is the ONLY asian restaurant she can eat at that we have been able to find. Hard to believe their food is not overly salty like most asian restaurants, but it is not!! And although not as salty, the flavors are amazing due to the fresh quality ingredients they use. I cannot get enough of their fresh home made (not pre manufactured frozen) vegetable egg rolls - bar none THE BEST I have ever had. They just added fresh Filipino Lumpia rolls to their menu also - yum! Our favorite dishes we can't get enough of are their flavorful wonton soup, Harr Kow (tons of shrimp and mix of veggies cooked to perfection!) and Pork Chow Mein. Also equally excellent are Almond Chicken, Beef Broccoli, Orange Chicken, Sweet and Sour anything, ... and the list goes on. For the summer they also added Thai Rolled Ice Cream to their menu - what a treat!!! A must have - hope they keep it on the menu for good! You MUST try!

Sleek pick for Japanese that combines tabletop hibachi entertainment & an intimate sushi dining area. Voted "Best Hibachi" and "Best Sushi" in Metro Detroit!
Reservation for 6:30 on a Saturday night. We were seated right away. Our server was very attentive and the hibachi chef was entertaining. The food was out of this world good. We had the filet and shrimp and everything was cooked to perfection. We will be back. Excellent food, services and atmosphere.

As usual, the restaurant is very non discript...It's so simple and plain on the outside....but the food "on the inside" is delightfully spicy and delicious. It's taken us a while to realize the wait staff is not disinterested, but stays focused on giving quick, simple, service to (me)...the customer. The menu selection is varied, with tasty fish bowls, spicy beef & broccoli, tofu, spiced green beans, dumplings and much more, too! The prices can be higher than average, But...Everything is authentic and there's always lots of food left, to take home! Always feel like we get a great reward for making the hour long drive. Gee, guess we are happy regulars, now!

Very rich buffet with sea food, oriental variety, sushi, soups and desert. It's all you can eat , so be ready to it.I tried to experiment a bit of each, but was not possible. My favorites: white fish, spicy beef, fried chicken and fried shrimp. Place is very comfortable, absolutely clean and with a friendly staff . Price is incredible.

Was not overly impressed with "The Show." Each and almost every oriental place has a "dramatic show on the flat-top!" This was nothing new. Yawn - Same old, same old. Food was just so-so. I mean they DO try but without something new, what have you got? Cook the rice, do a "Volcano with onion rings, flip a couple of shrimp into your hat - yawn.

Good local, strip mall sushi joint. Clean, good decor, friendly staff and good service. I'm Japanese and I recommend this place. Pricing is about the same as the others. You can easily drop $70 on 2-3 people. The best part. I was home in 7 minutes and didn't have to battle traffic in the trendy areas to eat sushi.

Went here after my nieceâs graduation. Sushi was good. Dinners come with soup, salad, rice vegetables and noodles. Itâs a lot of food. I got the chicken...they gave me 3 chicken breasts to eat. It was crazy. All the meat was cooked perfectly and it was tender. The cooks put on a nice little show.
