We took a chance on this place because it was family weekend at PSU and everywhere we went there was an hour wait or not at 6:00! I went with my husband and PSU freshman son. We all enjoyed our dinners and agreed we would return. The menu was extensive and so we asked for recommendations. The waiter was friendly and special orders were no problem. My son had a beef dish with peppers and other vegetables. He loved it. My husband and I are vegetarians and we each ordered tofu dishes without meat. We both loved our dishes. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

Very good Bento box- the sushi was great, the soup was very good, the tempura was delicious, and the teriyaki chicken- though not classic- was a large piece of succulent chicken. This is modest décor, but still a nice booth and the food was varied and well priced. I would recommend this really nice range of tastes.

You will find lots of vegetarian (and meat) stir fry options that you select yourself, including the sauces. Careful if you have gluten sensitivity or food allergies- there are options available, but the grill/stir fry areas are ripe for cross contamination. This is a great dining concept that supports healthy eating options- hope they will focus in the ambiance/aesthetics which need a refresh.

This place clearly is geared towards the student crowd. A sizable menu of dishes, most of them taste pretty much the same. And the taste is not bad, and the portions are large. The place is popular, so if you order a take-out you may end up waiting a bit. Noisy.I tried their Specials and it seems that the term is just a tradition. (A restaurant has to have specials, right?) There really is nothing special about the daily specials. I suggest just sticking to any noodles with whatever have you.

I was here a few weeks ago in what is the "off" season, pre-Arts Festival. This place is really small, so there is not much seating. When I went there, the tables were not all taken, but since I was only one person, they sat me at the counter. That was fine, but the stools are really uncomfortable. Oh well. I ordered a couple of different sushi rolls, and they came out pretty quickly. My waitress kind of just plunked food down on the counter in front of me; I don't think she was interested in taking care of one person at the counter. I must say, the rolls were very, very good. I wasn't expecting much, this being central Pennsylvania, so I was pleasantly surprised. The prices were quite reasonable as well. Next time I'm in the area, I'll gladly return.

You have many eat-in food choices. The hot bar choices are weighed and that adds up quickly to a fairly expensive lunch. Nice to be able to get fresh sushi, in display or made to order, and to eat it right there. Pizza slices; asian buffet; really good soups.Plenty of beverage choices, too. Handy if you have to shop around a meal time.

Three of us had dinner here and all enjoyed our meals. We shared the spicy rolls and steamed dumplings, both were delicious. 2 of us had spicy udong noodles with chicken and one had same without spice. Both were good but spicy is better. This will become a favorite of ours. One note-there is minimal parking so there is a good chance youâll have to park across the street at CVS. That road is treacherous to walk across so BE CAREFUL!

Authentic Szechuan and Asian cuisine
Great food lots of choices. Lots of authentic type offerings like hotpot and casserole. Different ingredients from Americanized Chinese places. Intestines, etc. Service ok. Moderately busy when we were there.Dead fish floating in the tilapia tanks may be a little off-putting to some people.

It is unlike any other buffet you've been to. When seated, they give you a popsicle stick that has writing on it. You go pick out your soup. Then you go over to the items for the entrees. You get to pick and choose which items you want, as well as the sauce for it. Then you put your popsicle stick on your plate, and they grill your items for you. Their grill is in a circle. The food is delicious!!! If in this area, stop in. You'll be glad you did!
