Typical takeaway menu but this one scores low on finesse and taste. The ribs are worth a go but the rice was brown and tasted musty, the sauces bland and insipid, and portions arenât as generous as elsewhere. Only 8 chicken balls? Did the delivery man lose a few? The major positive about Zen is the fact they deliver. Payment by cash only however.

Every thing was really great. The restaurant has been refurbished prior to opening and the ambience including music is relaxing and attractive. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive, menu appealing with just enough choice not to be confusing. Some reviews have said the portions are too small, but they are certainly not, the food is beautifully presented and delicious. It was a a very enjoyable evening, and we loved the food choices My one concern is that drinks especially are quite pricey, and the overall bill would mean that it wouldnât be a place we go to for a casual night out, more a special occasion. The restaurant wasnât busy on a Friday night, and I hope they havenât got the pricing wrong for the local market and that they go on to have great success.

The salmon starter was absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked and presented. Everyone on our table thoroughly enjoyed their food. This is a top class restaurant with very friendly staff. If you havenât already been you need to get there very soon! 5 stars!

Chinese restaurant and takeaway based in the heart of Stamford. Beautifully decorated with golden dragons; described by many as âStamfordâs Hidden Gemâ.
This place was packed and buzzing. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and served piping hot.

Good service with plenty of Cobra beer. Had a long table at back of restaurant (front is better).Agreed on selection of dishes for simplicity. Good choice of starters and plenty of it. The lamb curry was medium hot and very tender. Good potato and mushroom side dishes. Can be noisy in there on a Friday night. Good quality food.
