EXCELLENT What an amazing experience - every time!!!It surely is in my top 10 list of restaurants and I always go when I am in Japan. I can not decide which dish is my favorite, I loved them all from abalone to Kobe beef. What I enjoyed most was the way the chef grilled the garlic :-)

Established in 1987, named "XEX Club House" at that time, and known as the first "members only" venue in Japan, XEX quickly become one of the most popular spot in Tokyo, crowded not only with Japanese celebrities, but as well became a favoured destination
Came here with my family. They have a set menu that only includes beef teppanyaki. Since we donât eat beef we had to order ala carte was very good. We had the nigiri, chicken teriyaki, two fish dishes and the udon. Each were delicious. However... they forgot to bring my rice, soup and pickles, never poured our sake - I had to ask for them to pour my husband (Iâm not precious - the way we were sitting across the hot table made it difficult short of standing up and bringing him the carafe), only refilled our water glasses once, spilled on me and just generally forgot about us until I asked for the check. You canât charge that price point for food and totally forget about your customers. Thank you for you dine with us.Unfortunately, you were not comfortable our service that so apologized. They do not on purpose about that, however made your feel unhappy. We will train hard to good quality service.Thank you for your honesty comments.

This place is incredible. The most entertaining chefs and the best food I have had in Japan. The dessert Korean pancake was the icing on the cake. Thank you for an amazing meal, from an very happy and full Irish Rugby Fan x

Stumbled upon this place while I was looking for the toilet. Decided to give it a try as there was no line (it was about 4pm) and I was feeling hungry, and Iâm so glad I did! Really affordable â 100Â¥ for an array of sushi including tuna! They also have some meat sushi, and conger eel sushi which was 300Â¥ if not mistaken. I had a hearty meal for 1200Â¥ âºï¸ left with a smile and would definitely come back again! Tip: donât go during peak hours unless you want to wait in line.

Gluten Free Tâs Kitchen (Gluten Free 61 cafe & bar )we only serve the best gluten-free food and beverages. My goal is to provide a warm and relaxed place to enjoy a healthy lunch, afternoon tea or evening dinner for those with or without wheat allergies, ma
Finding Gluten-free in Japan can be challenging. I was happy to learn about this place from my research that I had a few options while in Tokyo. My husband, myself, and a friend stopped here for dinner. The menu I found was amazing in indicating food allergies. It made ordering a breeze for me.Most of the food was either a hit or a miss. I would recommend the shrimp and vegetables tempura, cajun fried chicken bites (AMAZING), sukiyaki, and of course sake to drink. The misses were ramen, marinated mushrooms, and yakisoba. Overall a great place for those who have allergies or intolerance. It is an easy place to bring your family members. It is on the smaller side so can be busy at times.

I won't duplicate the reviews of how great the katsu is at this place, it's wonderful. But part of the experience is sitting downstairs at the counter and watching the cooks in action. You don't want to sit upstairs, you want to sit downstairs at the counter. So we got there around 3:45 pm, before they opened at 4 pm. The line had started to form, we were maybe 5th in line (see photo). By the time they opened at 4 pm, there were enough people in line to fill up the entire counter. If you get there later, you have to wait until seats open up.We were the only Anglos at the counter, what a great way to experience a local Tokyo restaurant. Especially at the counter!
