Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Santos. Although it's also the location of the Latin America's largest seaport, Santos isn't just a boring port town. The city of 420,000, just 75 kilometers from São Paulo, features a seven-kilometer stretch of beach divided into just as many social cliques as you'd find on Ipanema. A verdant promenade separates the beach from the seafront condos and hotels, along which families and friends walk, amble, bike, skate, rollerblade, throw frisbees, you name it. Less sandy points of interest include the Museu do Café Brasileiro (Brazilian Coffee Museum), the Aquário Municipal (City Aquarium), the Orquidário Municipal (City Orchid Garden) and the Neo-Gothic Santos Cathedral.

Service was fast at first, but as it got busy there was bit of a wait for our server to take our orders, but other than this it was good.

Nice environment, fantastic service (we got there half an hour before closing, and waitresses were very kind and attentive). The menu is one of the best I've ever seen, since the "festival" to the special dishes, like Temakis and sashimis. Haru is on my list from now on.

What a shame it was good but its slipping. Tables are greasy as not cleaned between changing customers. Floor greasy. Food was more or less. Tuna had a very strong fish smell to it and very dark colour. Its really a pity as the place is very nice and has so much potential. They lost 2 customers. Its expensive for what you get.

If you are on holiday or live in Santos, Estrela de Ouro is a must go restaurant. Sushi, sashimi, nigiri and etc are always fresh. They also have a large variety of hot food, so if you don't like raw fish you will also enjoy here. It is a bit expensive but it's worthy every penny spent.Highly recommended!!

The food is realy great. Taste was as if I was back eating in Japan! The lula a dore is the best I had in a very very long time, crispy and great texture.Soup was excelent and so was the risoto of vegetables. I can keep on going, so advise you to go there yourself!!The menu is just large enough to keep a top quality and using fresh products. If you go for the Festival be advised that you will be there a long time. Everything is made fresh for you. Interior modern but done with taste. Very freindly service.
