Yank Sing Restaurants specializes in traditional and contemporary Dim Sum and is located in the heart of San Francisco.
Good dim sum but rather expensive and comparable in price to Harborview in Embarcadero center. Two of us ran up a bill for almost $100 and we did not have that much! The sea bass was overcooked. The soup dumplings and chicken stuffed mushrooms were good. Very good service. Quick to remove empty dishes. Dim sum and small plates were served from carts but you can request your items and not wait for the cart to come around.

First time here and while the food was great, we were blown away by the service! Beautiful interior as well. Additionally, they went above and beyond to be mindful of my food allergy. And the food- I hesitantly ordered the pork belly and I can't wait to have it again!!Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!

Great NA mock tails and all sorts of beverages, and every single thing we ordered was top notch. Will be back. Short wait but they are efficient about it, and their fruit and flower shrine is beautiful.

We were delighted to find this restaurant after walking past many restaurants with long waits and high prices. Curry Leaf had no line up and were were warmly greeted. one ordesr at the cashier the food is taken to your table. The food was absolutely delicious, hot with a brilliant blend of spices. A welcome treat !

absolute best breakfast and lunch in fisherman's wharf area. Fine Korean Cuisine dining nightly.
I am writing this review while dining. So quite live and fresh. I was walking to the wharf and saw this place en route and liked the atmosphere, so decided to stop in for breakfast. Around 10am, Sunday. I walked in and saw the hostess, who greeted me with a âHi guys, how many?â As soon as I said âoneâ the expression changed visibly. She looked inside and said I could sit at the bar. I requested outdoor seating; âwell then you will be in corner there.â So much for the customer having their say. She asked if I had a reservation, which I did not. Maybe this was the reason for being relegated to the corner. But I realized that the next four tables that came and were seated outdoors did not have a reservation either. All said and done the table was not so bad. I ordered one of their scrambled and English Breakfast tea. The scramble is not definitely fresh made. It came too quickly and was too heavy with onions. It tasted okay. Nothing extraordinary. Like most egg dishes not cooked fresh, they have (what I term) a âplate life.â If you donât eat it relatively soon, it will start to not look so good on the plate and not taste so good on the palate. The tea was Tea Forte. A good make, certainly. I did not get any milk for the tea. By the time I got the serverâs attention the water was not hot. So all in all an average experience at best. Will certainly not be making a beeline for it the next time in SFO. My recommendation: cook fresh and greet and treat your customers with respect and courtesy. Cheers!Addendum: major faux pas: The server picked up my completed/signed tab while I was still sitting. You just should never do that. Period. Bad practice.

Came here because my boyfriend said it's one of his favourite places. Definitely recommend making reservations since they were quite busy on a Sunday night around 7pm. We got seated right away and the ladies here are quite efficient. The restaurant is on the smaller side and it's little cramped inside. We ordered two of their specials for the day which were the ahi tuna poke and soft shell crab. The poke was really yummy, fish was fresh and the right amount of sauce. The soft shell crab was quite different (you can literally eat the shell) and came with cold noodles. We also got scallops & sea bass. I found the fish to be very well marinated and flavourful however the noodles and green beans were a little too oily & salty for my taste. Would come back if I was in the area and would recommend since it's one of the better fusions places I've been to.

we ordered take out for dinner from a brochure available at our hotel while visiting san Francisco. It arrived promptly, but the containers had fallen over and some contents spilled out into the bags leaving a horrible mess and wasted food. Food was lukewarm/ cold. We considered calling the restaurant but it was a very rainy, cold night and we had had a busy day. Ah, the life of a traveller.
