I had their lunch special$10, a delicious vietnamese soup, spring roll and a bahn mi sandwich. Great little find worth the detour. We're very happy you like our restaurant! This is a lovely, quiet tea room with an extensive menu of teas. After you select your tea (I tried the Mao Feng Chinese green tea) the server brings the tea things and shows you how to pour and serve the tea. They know their teas and are very proud of them. If you like, you may purchase tea leaves to take home. They also sell elegant tea sets. Old Montreal was very busy and very hot, and an hour spent at Ming Tao Xuan was exactly what I needed to relax and revive myself. This will become a go-to spot on future visits to Montreal.

One of my go to spots for years. The quality of the fish is amazing. Beyond fair pricing. Fun, casual service and a great soundtrack. You really can't go wrong.

This unassuming little restaurant in Saint-Lambert is a hidden gem. From the fresh sushi, sashimi as well as the Teriyaki dishes, the taste and presentation is excellent. The dishes are tasty without being salty or overly seasoned. The seafood, fish and even vegetables were fresh and the filet mignon was tender and tasty. The service was warm, courteous and friendly. Prices are moderately high but well worth the experience. The only reason I didn't rate this establishment a five star is (as mentioned in other reviews) the shabby state of the restrooms. They really need to do something about this.

Good Thai food, seasoned well with adequate portion sizes. The ambiance is very nice and that extends to the outdoor seating.covered seating. Service here was very friendly, courteous and helpful with understanding the menu items. The only issue is the order at which the entrees come out from the kitchen, since it's "family style", the entress are brought out randomly and not all at one time. If your party is alright with entrees coming out at different times then this is the place. However, do not expect all entrees coming out at once for your party/groupTIP: Dinner reservations are recommended.

A taste of Japan situated in a laid-back hideaway by Place d'Armes Square, Kyo Bar Japonais is a favourite among hungry, Old Montreal diners. Its menu boasts colourful izakaya creations, lunchtime bento box specials, smart sushi options and, with over 25
My husband took me here for my birthday dinner. Everything was superb. The ambiance was great. The service was excellent. The food was outstandingâwe had edamame with sea salt, miso soup, seaweed salad, sashimi and a roll. Everything was very fresh and top quality. We also had an excellent Rioja that was spectacular for the price. They brought a complementary desert for my birthday which was special. We will be back every time we are in Montreal.
