A couple of friends introduced us to the restaurant and we were not disappointed. We took the all you can eat format for 24$ on a friday evening. Everything was cooked fresh and homemade, which also means that it takes a little longer to get service so don't go here if you are in a hurry. The General Tao was amazing: all white meat in a delicious, thin crispy batter. It's best if you go at least as a small group so you can try a variety of dishes without wasting food and getting a surcharge as a result. The complete menu is available on the website including an a-la-carte menu if you prefer. We'll definitely go back.

We're in Saint Hyacinth this week on business and tonight we went looking for some sushi. My colleague found Sushi Matsu online so we decided to try it out. Sushi Matsu is a pretty big restaurant at the northern end of Saint Hyacinth on Boulvard Casavant Ouest. They have a somewhat limited but pretty good all-you-can-eat menu selection. It's Wednesday night and the menu is reduced on Wednesday night for some reason, but the service was fast and the food was good. As is the case with so many restaurants, retailers and other areas where one would want to spend their money, and if you've read any of my other reviews. you know I make a point of mentioning this if it's the case, and that is that Sushi Matsu does not except the American Express credit card as payment as ridiculous as that sounds given that they cater to business travelers. That said I'll probably come back the next time I'm in Saint Hyacinth looking for some sushi you might want to try them out.

Really cheap asian meals. For 12$, you get a soup, main dish, dessert and coffee. The "nid d'amour" is really good. The place is small and often full: reserve before you go. Service is ok.

Nothing really stands out from my visit to Au bon gout d'Asie, but the food was good, it wasn't too crowded and the price was good. Very similar to other asian food restaurants in the area. Most choices on the menu are under 15$. The soups are delicious. I ordered a shrimp sauté and there were only 4 medium shrimps in my plate. Not for the big hunger, but for a healthy lunch, it was ok. Not wheelchair accessible at all.
