I have lived here for several years, but have never tried La Merenda. It was on the top of my todo list. We tried tonight and it was delicious. A few favorites were the Chimichurri and Steak, the Risotto and the Blackberry Old Fashioned. The shrimp dumplings are just too spicy for our table. And for dessert, you cannot go wrong with the Creme Brulee! Great spot to sit outside, around a table and visit with friend-while getting served delicious food!

I caught a craving for Thai on the way to the grocery store. A quick search on Yelp at a red light gave me this place. It was a quick drive away with plenty of parking.This establishment is well appointed, is very clean and fresh and friendly. Okay, my fresh spring roll just arrived - I'm going in!The fresh spring rolls were not deep fried, but they were served warm with a soy-heavy sauce. Not the way I'm accustomed to them being served, but tasty nonetheless.The green curry dinner was a flavorful combination of chicken, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, cilantro and coconut milk over white rice. It was quite delicious and certainly more than I could finish in one sitting.My waitress was very friendly and attentive. She did not pressure me to order anything other than I requested, unlike some other restaurants I've dined at. She also didn't up-sell me on drinks, which I also appreciated. Their check had a section at the bottom where it explained tips for 10%, 15% and 20% which as likely very helpful for some folks.I would certainly dine here again.

There is parking available in the general lot. There was plenty of seating and we had no problem getting waited on promptly. The menu is pretty wide and contains most choices with some house specialties. We went with very conventional rolls and rice dish and it was good..
