Not many sushi places in this neighborhood but Osake is great. Family owned, sushi is dependable....maki rolls and sashimi are very good and some of the special rolls (New Year's Eve roll) are excellent! Service is always very attentive and delivery is quick! Small but good selection of sake too.

Fellow locals adore Thai Rock. Not just for the magnificent sunsets and cocktails, the music and food are outstanding. We just tried the Pineapple curry for the first time. What took us so long! Amazing. Sweet and spicy at the same time. Prepared meticulously. Portions are not huge, so if you know you like big portions be sure to order appetizers. Rob and Metta are perfect hosts.

Our family eats mostly takeout from this location but I get there for working lunches once a month at least, it's one of my favorites! Family-owned and relatively small, the food is excellent and service is great! Love all of the curry dishes (green , red, massoman, etc) and the fried rice (we live pineapple but you can add chicken, shrimp, beef, etc.). Socials line salmon fried rice are good too but tend to be pricier than similar regular dishes. I almost forgot the soups! Tom Yum Goong (shrimp, lemon grass) and Tom Yum Guy (chicken) are incredible! Best deal is lunch special with 10-12 choices each with small soup and (very) small salad for $8. Place is immaculate and one block from the beach!
