Seaweed....too sweet. Duck rolls.....tough. Ribs with Capital sauce.....salty. Special Chow mein.....boring, Other dish labelled 41 (deep fried chilli beef strips) turned out to be salt and pepper chicken, neither of which was ordered or charged for....VERY salty indeed. Altogether a great disappointment as we only live 5 mins walk away.

We had our annual get-together with friends for a Chinese meal. Our usual takeaway was closed so for the first time in 7 years we ordered from New City. The crispy duck was overcooked, charred in places and 50% was inedible. The fried rice wand special fried rice was the same, and very little trace of anything other than normal rice. The rest of the meal was very mediocre .

Popped in for a quick lunch with family. Warm and cozy atmosphere and we were made very welcome. Good range and quality of beer avaialble and well kept.Food was excellent value and freshly cooked. Excellent Thai food with a genuine Thai taste rather than any semi-english interpretation. Careful as when it the menu says the food is spicy, then it is!

Yes this is a nice place to eat on the edge the town. Very traditional and does a lot of take aways. Service was prompt and food was exactly what you would expect. The restaurant itself is small and only holds maybe 12 dinners and it has no windows! The midweek offer at £14.95 is very good value

How long does it take a cook a curry? In the case of India Cottage, around three hours. We repeatedly asked but no apology. The service was unfriendly throughout. The food was only average when it finally arrived. Perhaps such a large restaurant should either have more kitchen and waiting staff or reduce the number of bookings. Either way, I would not recommend or return

Suddenly thought of this place for lunch whilst driving back through the forest. We ordered our favourites, Spicy Malaysian noodles and King Prawn Pad Thai, Served fresh and hot, temperature hot and flavour hot. This place never disappoints. Not expensive either, so will have to visit here more often.

The food in this place is fantastic. The service is friendly and the only thing that will stop me coming back is the decor. The first time we came here it was great but the second time they had re done the lighting and the lamps hanging down from the ceiling were far to bright and shone into our eyes. This is a shame because the food is superb.

Popped in here by chance and was really pleased we did. The food was cooked to perfection. The duck and lamb dishes we ordered were so tasty and tender. It is one of the best Thai meals that l have eaten in a long time. The young waiters were a credit to the restaurant

Fine dining Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant
Although the food was really good, the service is slow an inattentive. After being seated and being served after some time with poppadoms and drinks, it was around 40 minutes before we got to order our food. There seemed to be no one in charge with any customer service skills. If this area was addressed it would make the experience so much better.

Curry Garden Indian Restaurant and Takeaway in Ringwood Hampshire (near the New Forest on the border of Dorset,) a family run establishment specialising in award winning Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine, serving the town of Ringwood since 1979. We pride our
Chicken Jalfrezi and Prawn Masala were quite disappointing, rather tasteless and lacking in spice. Takk Dahl was lacking in substance, watery and had no sign of any lentils. Presumably they ran out of garlic, chillies and lentils! Can't recommend this restaurant based on this visit - maybe we were just unfortunate! We did find the staff were very pleasant and attentive.
