The Royal Turban has only been open for two weeks now and it is a breath of fresh air. Fabulous food and great service. Second Saturday night and the place was buzzing. Wide variety of choices. Best Naan we have tried anywhere. Highly recommended. They also serve Blue Moon ( with and orange slice) on tap. Best beer to have with Indian food. Loved our first visit. We will be back.

I had dinner here on my own one night. It was Asian food mostly (Sunday night) but was pretty empty. I had a schnitzel which was very average - frozen and then obviously deep fried. Came with a 1970s salad - ice berg lettuce, two chunks of tomato and slices of orange all over it. Yuck. Not cheap either - I paid $17 for it which is ok for pub food but not for a leathery old schnitzel with a crappy salad.Drink prices were good but the outside area was all fenced in (and latticed in) which was depressing. It had heaters though which was good but the patrons were a bit rowdy and full of colourful language. Not that I mind but it wasn't helping. The bar staff were lovely though - a girl on the bar was particularly nice and very helpful (called me a cab). Great cab service too! Very quick. Not the best food around but then again, there's not much choice out there. It's semi-industrial and your other choices are a BP and a Red Rooster unless you want to cab it into town. Not a bad place but not somewhere I'd go again in a hurry.

Our usual go-to spot in Queanbeyan was closed so we thought we would give this place a go. Bad mistake. The restaurant is clearly focused on it's take-away business as there were a bunch of people waiting when we arrived and an endless stream of orders going out as we waited for our meals. Service was bizarre and our waitress a bit clueless. We ordered two mixed entrees and two mains with fried rice. Entrees were OK but then one main came out, followed by the second about 15 minutes later then finally the rice was thrown on the table by the waitress as she passed by with an arm full of take-away orders. The food was very ordinary, overly battered and sickly sweet and the rice was dry. There were some big tables full of families who looked like they were having a good time but we won't be back. We paid $70 for a really bad experience...there are much better places around.

Visited recently with the family and found a reasonably varied menu. Food was good quality and the gluten intolerant I dined with found plenty to their liking. Good value for money and fast pleasant service. Not for romantic candlelit dinners, but for a weekly dose of Thai you canât go wrong.

In 2003, the first "Lime Leaves" Thai Restaurant opened in a beautiful heritage building the heart of Queanbeyan. The combination of authentic Thai cuisine and a warm atmosphere made Lime Leaves the go to place for your Thai food fix. This service and cul
We booked late, leaving our Valentines celebration booking until the last minute. We were seated at a lovely table by the window, the food was lovely. We both had seafood in our rice noodle dishes and it was fresh and cooked perfectly. Weâve lived in the area for years and this is our first visit. Donât leave it too long to experience dining in this lovely old house, eating delicious food and being served by lovely hosts.
