Discover Restaurants offering the best Asian food in Punta de Mita, Nayarit, Mexico. Yearning for the laidback feel of a rural fishing village with white sand beaches, combined with the luxuries and mild year-round weather of the Mexican Riviera? Punta Mita has all this plus championship golf, diving, sport fishing, surfing, sailing, sea kayaking, whale watching, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, Jeep tours, and rainforest excursions. Walk into town for beachfront restaurant dining and Pacific Ocean sunsets. Kids can safely swim at Playa El Anclote, where the rock jetties calm the shallow waters near restaurant row. Surf El Anclote’s long slow waves. Or seek out those special surfing spots along the coast, like near Punta Sayulita. Enjoy kayaking. Take the family sailing. Tee off overlooking the breezy blue waters of the Pacific Ocean at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Pacifico Course, rated among the best in Latin America. Pacifico is renowned for its optional 19th hole, the “Tail of the Whale,” a 199-yard par-three where you tee off over the Pacific Ocean onto a large island green. The Bahia, another Nicklaus-designed championship course, has six ocean holes, and is lined by beach sands and gated resort properties controlling course access. The Bahia Banderas (Bay of Banderas) and north towards Sayulita is great for fishing and diving volcanic tunnels, or just watching whales, dolphins, turtles, and ocean birds. Snorkel color-splashed shallow reefs. Spend a day on a ponga, a motorized open-bow fishing boat in search of mahi-mahi (dorado), pugnacious pargo (big cubera snapper), Pacific sailfish, fighting roosterfish, yellowfin tuna, and bonita. From Islas Marietas and El Morro to La Corbetena and El Banco, the diving opportunities are numerous.
Things to do in Punta de Mita
This gets lost by Trip Advisors reviewers because it kind of gets lost in Four Seasons or Golf. But this restaurant in Punta Mita services the golf courses of Bahia and Pacifica. The food is excellent and probably the best chicken fajita I've had. Great tortilla shells, fresh and thin. Be careful they add cheese to them you might not like that, but accommodate to leaving it out. Breakfast is quiet and overlooking the course in a covered patio. Servers are friendly and understand the golf community for speed if you need it. I loved it here, must have ate here 4 times. You have to access Punta Mita at the golf course . It's not in Punta de Mita.

Sitting at a table overlooking a quiet area of Banderas Bay, from which you will see the beautiful Rancho Banderas beach and you might see frolicking humpback whales and dolphins and from December through May will be almost guaranteed a breathtaking sunset, the food almost doesn't matter... but in fact, the food (Mexican and other choices) generally does the setting justice. A beautiful Pagoda in a little beach town on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Our location allows us to use the freshest ingredients paired with traditional Japanese methods, and of course, a touch of our own unique brand creativity.
Are at sushi bar. Forgot our miso soup and served at end claiming thatâs how chef likes to do it there (when couple next to us got theirs first). Miso soup wasnât great...warm, not hot. Special crab salad delicious. Drink service terrible. Asked for wine list twice; then just glass of wine; then 4th ask just to get another drink over 15 mins sitting w/out a drink. Disappointed. Wonât go back!We are very sorry about what happened. We appreciate your comments and would like you to know that we will work on making sure this is corrected. For us our service and the experience we deliver to our customers is of utmost importance. Again we apologize and we hope you willl give us another opportunity.

Ignore all the terrible reviews! There were 7 of us dinning and we considered all our orders outstanding, and we had various dishes. The pasta is absolutely amazing. The family who owns this is an incredible delight, they take pride in their restaurant and it shows. The Father is from Italy, and theyâve had their roots here for a couple decades. Itâs beautifully decorated and the service was exceptional. Be sure to dress up a bit! If you arenât too full do try the dessert! The brownie gets 5 stars.

The restaurant and the atmosphere/service were pretty good! Ordered the small, 4 dish menu (there was a Signature 10 dish menu) and the portions were too big. Couldnât finish them all, didnât have dessert and the dishes from the normal menu (Aguachile and Langosta) were better. Visually outstanding but once you see the portions, psychologically, your mind plays negative on you. Great flavors and my respects to the chef, he came out and apologized for the inconvenience; also told us a bit about his career (we asked him), quite interesting!
