Truly outstanding especially the food is best in the UK. I was looking for an Indian restaurant (authentic) in Bury. To be honest I did not expect much as UK is full of Bangladeshi restaurants which call it as authentic Indian cuisine with mundane dishes. At Darbar, I got truly warm environment with 100% truly authentic Indian dishes and taste was outstanding. After dinner wanted to see chef who made such a great lamb chop masala. Chef is very humble and well trained in best restaurant.My best wishes

Lovely decor inside but still the same Chinese food you get anywhere else just served on trendy plates and more expensive. Decent sized portions, nice enough food but again no different to any other Chinese just a little pricey.

Came here based on TripAdvisor reviews. Warm welcome and offered drinks. We ordered a whole selection of curries. Took a while to arrive and they missed one order out but that was quickly rectified. All the curries tasted good. We were given extra rice for free. That was niceService was excellent. Would definitely come back

Had an excellent visit on a Sunday pm with familyâ5 of us.Ordered a variety of starters and then 3 mains with accompaniments.The guy was honest with his appraisal of both choice and quantity. All dishes were very tastyâfreshly cooked and seemingly very authentic.We are âcurryâ snobs and tend to avoid suburban restaurants. But Rusholme now is even harder to get a good mealâand I think we have just found our new place?Well done sindhoorâ-we will be back

Not the best. I was upset that the quality of the food was poor it was my recommendations to come here. Will not be returning. Not worth the money. We have been a few times and not been disappointed so Iâm surprised to see some of the recent reviews.Our latest visit was no different although prices do seem to have gone up a bit since we were last there a couple of months ago.We had the banquet for 4 this time and from soup all the way through to the mains it was excellent with tasty food and good sized portions.The staff were very attentive and pleasant and there was a good atmosphere.Drinks were reasonably priced for the area and weâll certainly go back again.

Ate here yesterday as part of a large group. Staff were friendly and attentive, couldnât do enough for us. The food was excellent , very generous portions and lovely and hot considering there were 12 of us and all the food came together. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Visited for the first time on Friday 1/11 with 3 girlfriends. The staff here are very attentive. The food was nice all four of us having different meals. Itâs quite an upmarket restaurant with chandeliers and comfy couch seating area and very brightly lit, however really noisy as the acoustics lend themselves to enhancing everyoneâs conversations so quite hard to hear ourselves. Dear JanMEngland,First I would like to thank you for the visit and taking the time to share a review. We do take great care in providing the best food and service to our guests. We are glad to know that you and your girlfriends have enjoyed the meals and the attentive service we provided. However, we can see that you had difficulty hearing each other because of the noise created by the acoustics. We will be sure to forward this on to the management to fix the issue urgently.Hope on your next visit, we will meet your expectations fully.
