Located at 15 Hardware Lane, just off Bourke St in the CBD, Rice Paper Sister offers the same fresh, organically sourced ingredients and inviting atmosphere as Rice Paper Scissors, with a "finer" dining experience.
The reviews on this restaurant are accurate, it didn't disappoint. The standout dish for me was the Kingfish Sashimi, very fresh and delicate flavors with an unusual passionfruit accompaniment. Four of us shared our dishes and with the exception of the crispy prawn and cauliflower dish, all were delicious. The prawn dish was a bit too fishy tasting for me, but that could just be my preference. The service was great, friendly and efficient. The only reason not to give this an excellent rating was the state of the bathrooms, not the cleanest I've seen.Highly recommended.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at an old favourite today, Chinta Ria Soul. When I say old favourite, it was in the late 90âs that I used to frequent this establishment almost weekly.Service today was warm & genuine and the food was exceptional.Interesting wine list and great value overall, it was great to be back!

This little cafe has some very good food and lots of great healthy options. It also does not use MSG which is important. The flavours are tasty and I've enjoyed dishes like the soft shell crab with brown rice and vegetable dishes. The restaurant could look better and can be noisy. Last time we were there we asked for the music to be turned down.Overall though the food and service are very good.

Davidâs was established in 1999 from a small tea store on Chapel Street, founded by Shanghai-born David Zhou. Word of Davidâs tea talents spread quickly, and he soon opened Davidâs so he could share Shanghai cuisine with Melbourne. At Davidâs, we put trad
Had dinner here with our son and daughter in law on a Friday night. It was busy but we were given a good table (weâd reserved). Noise and lighting levels were good - enough atmosphere but you could still have a conversation without shouting and see the menu without using the iPhone torch. Drinks orders were taken quickly and they arrived fairly soon thereafter except for the peach tea which took another 10 minutes. The food was outstanding, particularly the hawker lamb pancake starter The rest of the courses were equally good, but the we had to ask where the broccoli was two times. We placed orders for beer (they have draught Asahi) that never arrived, so we had to order again. Overall, though, a good nightHi Andrew,Thanks for your review. We are so pleased to hear that you loved our food! Our sincere apologies regarding the slow delivery of your broccoli as well as your beer orders. This is not up to scratch for us and your feedback has been relayed to the team for their improvement. Thanks again Andrew and we hope to have you all back with us soon!

Went on a Monday night at 7pm and still got a table and it wasnât super busy at all the whole time we were there. Once again I had already looked ahead at the menu and new what I was getting. The XO pho was delicious. Noodles were more âpot noodleâ style than I was expecting (this is definitely not a negative thing at all they just werenât how I had anticipated) and Iâm that fussy person who wants no coriander and this wasnât seen as hassle to the lovely staff!! Thanks guys! Hi @Siobhan2703,Thanks for the review! We are stoked to hear that you loved your experince. Hopefully we can have you down again soon!Cheers,HH

A small, atmospheric restaurant serving top quality food. One can leave here with an expensive Bill, however in our group of 8 we ordered two Entrees to share, four Mains to share with a large bowl of special rice plus a large bowl of vegetables and nothing more was needed....apart from a delightful Alto Aldige white from the north of Italy and a Paringa Peninsula pinot. My companion thought that the Bill was reasonable for such fine dining.

Housed in an historic turn-of-the-century horse stable, Hawker Hall is our representation of a food and beer hall that takes its inspiration from the vibrant hawker centres of Singapore & Malaysia. Our food is inspired by the vibrant street-food culture o
We stopped by for lunch and were disappointed with the experience. The space is stylish and spacious and service was okay but the food was average, over priced and poor value. The portion sizes were minuscule. I understand they are share plates but the the amount of food in each dish was tiny. There are so many places that you get twice the amount of (better quality) food at half the price. The dishes we did try were fine but nothing special. Poor value for money and trading on hype that is unwarranted.

The blonde waitress (forgot to ask her name) on Wednesday night, was the most attentive service Iâve had in Melbourne, she catered to all of our needs and had a lively upbeat personality Canât say a bad thing about my dining experience :)Hello Zoe, We're glad to hear you enjoyed your recent experience at Tokyo Tina! We pride ourselves on delivering the best service and we'll be sure to relay that feedback on :) We can't wait to see you back down again soon! Tokyo Tina.

Such amazing food, especially the watermelon martini and the salmon tacos. The corn ball special also really good. Quick good and fantastic service the waiters/ waitress all really friendly. A little loud but a younger vibe. Pricey but not too ridiculous and worth the amazingness of the food. Canât wait to return!

Really interesting food in a small setting . A good range of small, medium and large dishes. Our favourites were fish amok; scotch fillet and the spiced cauliflower side. Very reasonably priced wine list from small wineries. Strongly recommend. Also consider the chefâs tasting menu.
