Home to royalty, billionaires, diplomats, and the international business elite, it is one of the most prestigious communities in the Washington, D.C. area (and the US). In 2013, CNNMoney listed Potomac as the most affluent town in all the United States based on median household income. Potomac is also the seventh-most top-educated American small town according to Forbes. Bloomberg Businessweek labeled Potomac as the twenty-ninth-richest zip code in the United States in 2011, stating that it had the largest population of any U.S. town with a median income of more than $240,000. In 2012, The Higley Elite 100 published a list of highest-income neighborhoods by mean household income, which included four neighborhoods in Potomac; one of these neighborhoods, "Carderock-The Palisades" was ranked the highest-income neighborhood in the United States, followed by "Beverly Hills-North of Sunset" in Beverly Hills, California, and "Swinks Mill-Dominion Reserve" of McLean, Virginia. More recently, two Potomac neighborhoods were ranked among the ten wealthiest neighborhoods in the country by CNBC in 2014. In 2018, data from the American Community Survey revealed that Potomac was the sixth-wealthiest city in the United States. Many Potomac residents work in nearby Washington, D.C.

My first visit was with some friends who've been there before. While there are several very good Chinese restaurants in Rockville, this ranks among the best. The speed of the service is dependent upon the size of the crowd, the time, and the day of the week. Nevertheless, the food was always superb. As others have noted, the menu is oriented to those who prefer authentic Chinese food (China natives, for example), and those who prefer Chinese food moderated for the American palate. Prices are low to moderate; dress is informal; mastery of Mandarin is not needed.

Freshly prepared delicious food served attractively and by friendly staff,There is an entrance from the outside but we discovered it from inside the Mall.Portions are large and can easily be shared. Many patrons left with carry out bags. Business people, mall workers and a loyal following frequent this location.Plenty of parking.

This is a local spot we drop in to causally in the Park Potomac area. The lunch specials are affordable and we have some favorites, but deviating a bit this time we were a bit disappointed in how saucy the items were.We prefer things a little cleaner.

We went there for lunch. The luncheon specials were quite reasonable in price and size. The service was excellent. The food was quite tasty. Judging by the number of Japanese eating there, it was a vote of confidence on their part. It was quite busy at lunch time. I'm looking forward to the next time I can visit.

En Sushi is Tucker in behind the strip mall with Tally Ho (a Potomac landmark) in the former home of Potomac Pilates. It has a good sushi menu including a counter where you can sit and watch. This is complimented with a smaller dining area. The Chinese menu is pretty broad with classic Americanized Chinese dishes and a number of more authentic dishes as well. They also deliver in the area. I do wish you could order on line rather than call. But his might be an economic choice for the owners. And to settle the âBest in Potomac Villageâ - with the closing of the lower quality Fortune Garden - itâs the only one too. Overall, itâs a solid serviceable option.

I had wanted a light Japanese lunch in anticipation of a heavy dinner. And this place did not disappoint. I ordered the sashimi bento and it was just right in amount and tasty in quality. The food was fresh and well presented. The decor too is interesting. I sat in a booth with the side to the wall that had what looked like a metallic patina--it's actually ceramic tiles. I know because I had a table with that surface once.Nice.

Some food writers write about the best hamburger, or the best pizza, or the best crabcake in area restaurants. In my case, I love the Singapore rice noodle dish among all Chinese dishes. Thought I'd try their version. It was such a disappointment. Their dish contained mostly the rice noodle, with very little add-ons: some shrimp, green peppers, and sliced onions. Ate just a few bites and brought the dish home. Added some chicken and more sliced onions to make it fuller in taste. Have had better.
