This is without doubt some of the very best sushi I have tasted. They make it fresh for you and it's a different league. I'm a massive sushi fan and very happy I chose here. I will definitely return of if was ever back in the area.

We ate here on a Saturday night, the friendly staff showed us to a nice table. Advice on type and spice content of the choice of curry on offer. The food was really good as was the service. This is a bring your own alcohol restaurant. We both really enjoyed our choices and will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been customers of Rajnagar since it opened, we love their cooking and the warm welcome we receive when we visit the restaurant. Having said this, we got a takeaway delivered to us at home on Tuesday night, and the chef had done wonders! We had the Lamb Saag, Sag Aloo and Chicken Bhuna; they were absolutely perfect even more delicious than usual. Fantastic!!

We have eaten in indian restaurants all over the UK, Jaipur is one of the very best not only for the food, the service was exceptional. I do look carefully at Tripadviser when Iâm staying somewhere where we have no knowledge of local restuarants. What a gem this Restuarant is, the starters and main were truly delicious and I would 100% recommend a visit if you want a Indian crusine. When we fly from Newcastle Airporr again and we want a Indian meal, we will return. .

We ate here on a Saturday night and didnât need to book as we came in late.The restaurant was about half full so it didnât take long to get our drinks and food served and the staff were nice and friendly.Our food was all tasty and hot, the salt & pepper chilli king prawns were particularly good!I like to be constructive so the things Iâd change to make this restaurant five stars are the decor, new wallpaper would transform the dining room. The choices of wines by the glass, Iâd liked to have had two or three wines to choose from and know what they were, and Iâd have paid more for them. Iâd also have liked a nicer wine glass. Finally, as much as I like Elton John and Coldplay, you canât beat Chinese music in a Chinese restaurant, it adds to the ambience.The toilets are very good by the way, clean and modern.There are lots of good things about this place and if youâre looking for a tasty meal thatâs good value then itâs the place. We will be back.Dear Billy,Thank you very much for very nice and well written review. In the New Year we plan to redecorate the restaurant as the current decor is about 6 years old now.We do sometimes play Chinese music but do try to change the play list as often as possible.I am pleased you enjoyed the food and service and we all look forward to your return to Princess Garden.

What a great choice for a Friday night meal after a few early cocktails in the village of Ponteland. Walked in to book the table at 5.30pm for a 8pm meal and no hassle at all, very accommodating and great welcome. Opted for a set meal for 3 and we were not disappointed....Crab and sweetcorn soup to start the ball rolling with plenty of prawn crackers, followed by the wonderful Aromatic duck served with pancakes and a great selection of Salt and pepper chilli king prawns (delicious) then onto the mains Beef fillet in a tangy cantonese sauce - served on a hot plate, Chicken in a garlic chilli sauce (this was nice but the weakest of the three dishes, and Yeung chow fried rice King prawns in szechuan sauce, unbelievable tastes and plenty for three adults, finished off with fresh orange. Definitely top quality and felt satisfied with amount as sometimes after a chinese meal we have been left feeling hungry as dishes are full of vegetables rather than meats/fish....not the case at this place. Will definitely be returning soon and management in the restaurant is spot on with staff very quick to respond to your requests. Having visited this restaurant many time before, we were looking forward to our Saturday curry night at Haveli. God knows what has happened, but both the service and the food has gone down hill. Yes it was busy on arrival, but we had to prompt the waiter to ask if our table was ready. Yes it was, but the staff were just not tuned in. We opted for the sharing platter to start with which was tasty. The mains however were either totally over spiced or very bland. Husbands lamb madras left a residue on the tongue! Friends korma was not the normal burst of flavours, but really just cream. We asked for a top up of the two extremely small pots of rice, which was fine but at a cost of £5. So at the end of the meal we spoke to the waiter about our disappointing evening. He happily informed us that "everyone has mentioned how spicy the lamb is tonight"...............I think this place has got too big for its boots. Thinking it has a captive audience in Darras Hall, but they need to realise if their food and service are below par people will just go elsewhere. Gladly we do not live in Portland and are very lucky to have the UK's best casual indian restaurant on our doorstop (Dabawal).
