Best place....only place in Hicksville to get SUSHI!!!!Can always get a Groupon deal too. Clean, fresh and delicious. Excellent service. The only thing I can say is that if you're not in a rush, ask them to slow down bringing out dishes. I would also recommend to the owners, woulkd be to advertise more. People don't know that you exist. A well-hidden treasure!

We've dined in and taken out. Each time the food was excellent. Dining in the atmosphere is very nice and the staff attentive.

Now, I've eaten a good amount of sushi across Long Island and in other areas of the north east, but Dake is consistently great food with AMAZING service and reasonable prices. The staff know my family when we walk in and ask how those who didn't come with us are doing. The sushi is always deliciously fresh and everything else we've had on the menu has been fabulous as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good lunch or dinner.

Chinatown dishes at Long Island Chinese resturants are hard to find. You can get special Chinese greens dishes in brown or garlic sauces and they are pretty good. Also large special noodle soup as in Chinatown..l just love these dishes on cold days.. take out only the place is a hole in the wall. PS the employees could be a like more friendly to the customers from the Plainview area.

The food is okay here, service is quick however the 3 times that I visited here they usually mess up my order or forget to bring something out.

Thai restaurant serving authentic cuisine prepared with quality ingredients in an upscale setting. We also have a full bar that offers beer, wine, and specialty cocktails utilizing Thai ingredients.
Nice Thai restaurant in an open shopping center. Glass front doesn't particularly stand out but the inside with high ceilings and modern decor is attractive and elegant. There is a front section with seating and a colorfully lit bar, and the dining room behind two sides tall frosted glass partitions. Around 6 on a weekday it wasn't too busy, just a few occupied tables. Spacing quite good, center tables set at angles provide more private space. The menu a bit disappointing in that I couldn't find any of the Thai dishes I was hoping for, like fried fish or shrimp cakes, or minced chicken salads, overall felt more like an Asian restaurant menu rather than a Thai one. Anyway we had the spring rolls, which were pretty good, small in size (preferable to big and coarse ones), a garlic vegetable stirfry which for some reason we thought was a veggie pad Thai but turned out to be just veggies with rice, and dumplings, which were what would be called siumai in Chinese restaurants, quite tasty. The one thing I was very happy about was the dessert menu, which surprisingly had quite a few Thai and Asian desserts, in particular the coconut rice cakes I was hoping for, served warm and delicious (comes in four mini dishes good for sharing). Would have ordered the fried bananas too except I wasn't sure about them being wrapped in wonton skin. Taro pudding also sounded interesting. If you like Thai/Asian desserts instead of the usual perfunctory ice cream offering definitely check this place out.

a group of 4 of us stopped by on a cold night for dinner. Parking is on the street. We were lucky to find parking close by. It is a very small restaurant. It only seats around 30 people. We squeezed into our tables and enjoyed some beer. The spring rolls were quite tasty. The samosa chaat was a little too bland. The soups were great - hot and spicy. We shared the fried rice, the vegetable Manchurian and chili panner. The food was good. The panner was salty but we were able to get it replaced. Our friend had the goat achari which was pretty good. The service was just okay - the waiter was neither friendly nor prompt. But the food was good and we would try it again if we are in the area.
