Things to do in Peyton
Had watched this new restaurant go in and last night had the opportunity to go there for dinner with a family member. The facility was nice, clean, and welcoming and the wait staff gracious and efficient. The food on the other hand was lack luster and not what I am used to with sushi. The fish tasted fishy which is not all that fresh. I noticed it in my Sushi Dinner 1 and my family member said the same about the Rainbow Roll. I would hope that they can improve their delivery of fresher fish. I also felt that the Unagi was slimmy.

Meh, not to bad. This is a very small place that is very clean and the service was excellent. The food was ok. Our family had Egg Drop Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, Wanton Soup, Chicken with Garlic Sauce, Curry Chicken and Orange Chicken. I have to say that the Orange Chicken was the best.
We stopped here to do some homework, and the place was amazing. The name implies it's a gelato spot (which it is, it was homemade and really good). But Javalato had tons of coffee options and a huge menu. The breakfast burrito and avocado toast were both great and the coffee was too. If you're looking for a place to stop and do some work while also having an amazing breakfast and coffee, this is it!

Popped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the great choices, excellent portion sizes, and fast service. I went with a medium Pho bowl, thinking it would be filling and was shocked by how much food came in the medium size. Add the side plate of fresh veggies to stir in and you have a complete meal. This isn't soup - it's a filling, authentic meal enjoyed by an entire culture. Choose you meat (or vegan option) and dive in. Absolutely delicious!I'd recommend a little hot sauce if you can take the heat. Want something to cool it all down? A little Thai tea is refreshing and will reduce the heat a bit. Prices are a little higher for lunch, but but unreasonable for the amount provided. Enjoy!

Tristan really made the evening a pleasant experience. He is on his A-game for what is important to diners looking for great service, a great meal, and a friendly atmosphere. First, he gave us an overview of the menu. In our case, the four of us already knew what we wanted. In my case, the Moo-Shu pork is always my favorite. The oriental pancakes are served in a warming dish and are always very fresh and are really the highlight of the entree. All of the entrees are fabulous and very generous servings. You will go home with food for another meal. Tristan worked our table throughout the evening making sure that our tea was hot and fresh, and that everything met our satisfaction. We always have a fabulous evening at Shangri-La, our favorite oriental restaurant in Colorado Springs. Give Shangri-La a try and get one of Tristan's tables.

The five of us came here based on the recommendation of a relative. For appetizers we ordered the Soft Crab, Spring Rolls and Fried Rolls. For entrees we ordered the Shrimp and Rice, Chicken and Rice, Seafood Pho, Beef Pho and the Beef and Rice.Everything was flavorful and delicious. However, what caught my attention is the bus-person cleaning the tables was using an extremely dirty towel and didn't use anything to sanitize the table. He merely wiped the table and let all the crumbs fall on the floor. Therefore I've given them a score of "2".

This is my favorite all you can eat spot. The fish is high quality and delicious, the staff is friendly and great variety of rolls and alternatives for kiddos too

Oh... The bulgogi. Authentic Korean. It's cute for a hidden strip mall ear-splitting/carry-out place, and the service is super friendly. If you don't know what to order, just ask. Recco bulgogi, pork cutlet, pancake. Trying bibim bap and the dumplings tonight too. You'll pay more than typical greasy Chinese take-home. Worth it. All made here.

Did someone complain about the spice/hot factor here? Perhaps multiple complaints? While edible, my volcano shrimp contained NO volcano aspect. The pepper flake condiment at the table - is that just a decoration? No hot, no spice, no bite, and no flavor. Tried my dateâs bbq pork dish - no bbq flavor, no bite either. Strangely flavorless. One dish, maybe, but two? Are they all like this? The fried rice was a good temperature but also flavorless. It was non-greasy, so perhaps that was a factor? The service was great, the atmosphere welcoming, and my Christmas Eve vibe was strong. Iâm not a complainer but just genuinely confused here. I can recommend the Thai ice tea easily - on a good note. I did take leftovers home, so the portions were solid, but I also curious if I could doctor the entrees for some bite, some flavor. For once I feel badly leaving a mostly negative review and simply wonder if it has something to do with area, and not the chefs themselves.

Average was a better grade than deserved. The order was wrong, took an hour to deliver and the taste was bland. Generally I will give a place a second chance, don't expect that will be the case this time. Just too many issues for a first visit.
