We ordered specials and the food seemed very fresh and much more authentic than most Thai restaurants in NJ (which are often run by non-Thai people). A minor downside is that the wait-staff seem pretty inexperienced; but we will still be back because the food was very good.In the same space as the old Da's Kitchen.

Went inside for take out. Wait staff was somewhat friendly. Took my order and I paid. Was going to run an errand and return so I asked for a receipt since I did pay. She said NO it will come with the food. Thought that was weird. What if she forgot or wasn't there and asked me to pay again?!Anyway - I ordered the chicken and broccoli with fried rice in lieu of white rice. It was OK but not as good as other places like in Hightstown a bit bland to me. I didn't really feel full and I thought the prices were higher than other places. There was plenty of broccoli but not too much chicken which was also super thin and had fat.I did reheat leftovers the 2nd day and I think it was actually better.

There are few traditional american style Chinese restaurants in central New Jersey now, so I wish this one was better. With many restaurants changing to multi-Asian or Asian fusion styles, I would like at least a few of the more traditional ones to stay in business.Take out service was fast. The food tasted okay but had too much soy sauce. Both types of fried rice were very dark. My granddaughter, who generally likes fried rice, said it wasn't real fried rice because it was too dark. Try it for yourself. Just don't go in with really high expectations.

I love Hungarian food, having had my share of it in Canada, USA, and Europe and thought I would get a great meal at this restaurant but ended up being disappointed. The meals my wife and I had were the special of the day and was microwaved and quickly reheated after coming from the fridge (we watched). Portions were also smaller than expected. It was lunch and there were only us and a group of men that came after we left so, I guess they don't cook fresh? The lunch was also a bit on the high side and with a tip came to $32. Might be better at dinner, but don't think I will be back again. Sorry.
We were poking around this area new to us since we moved into New Hope Solebury.Saw a sign on the highway and stumbled into New Happy Wok. Nice inside for a typical chinese/Sushi restaurant. (.See Website).Sandy seems to be one of owners and was very nice. Hovered like a helicopter to be sure we were comfortable and took our orders promptly.Pros:Quick service, food served in proper order and hot, bottomless hot tea, (BYOB),wide selection on menu and interesting items (See Menu on website), great prices, good Sushi and Lunch Specials as well as a crossover of Chinese, Japanese and some Thai. Parking right in front. I called it mid range but Sushi and Appetizers are inexpensive. Good delivery options including Grubhub and BeyondMenu.Cons: None except finding the place the first time. We have added this to Trip Advisor after 3 tries.

We have bought take-out at Cheng's from time to time over the last few years. Initially, we found many of their dishes too "sugared", trying to please the American craving for sweet dishes which seemed seriously out of place for most Chinese dishes other than "sweet and sour" varieties. More recently, they have toned down the sugar and the food is better. Service is prompt and reliable and you cannot find Chinese food anywhere in this area at a better price.

The food is not bad; it's just this side of bland. There's no Wow factor. For example, we ordered Chicken Satay --- a standard menu item at most Thai restaurants (see photo). First, it arrived barely warm, but our server gladly took it back and brought another order. Unfortunately, even with the sweet n' sour sauce, it was rather boring. I had a similar experience with the Cachew Chicken (photo). It wasn't bad; it was just not very tasty. Hate to keep using the same word, but it, too, was just plain boring. I love Thai food, but I will not return to Pru when there is Ricky's Thai in Skillman and Hillsborough as well as Origin a little further up the road in Somerville.

My husband and I go to Mizuki a few times a month and we are never disappointed. Service is great and food is even better. We have tried many of the Sushi rolls as well as the bento boxes and the Chinese style kitchen dishes and have always been satisfied. We recently brought our nephew and he said he can't wait to go back. It is also nice that you can have a glass of wine with dinner. If you are in the neighborhood, try Mizuki!

My wife and I tried the new Teppanyaki with two other couples. We came away very pleased with the quality and quantity of food. I had steak and shrimp and my wife had the spanish mackeral special which we both enjoyed. One couple got the scallops and they said they were fabulous. You also get fried rice and noodles so there is plenty of food. It is BYOB so we brought our own wine. One note is that there isn't a lot of entertaining going on with the cooks. They do their job but don't juggle knifes or whatever like you find in some teppanyaki restaurants. This a very nice addition to Pennington restaurants!
