Aling Emma's Special Pasalubong has been in the local market for more than five (5) decades. The popularity of their tikoy, espasol and bibingka came into print when Aling Emma was featured in magazines and newspapers with nationwide circulation. Whenever I visit Pagsanjan it has been part of my itinerary to make a quick stop at this store to purchase "pasalubongs" for my family and friends in Manila.
An authentic Filipino Native Cuisine at its finest
We chanced upon Abrams during our way home after our annual Visita Iglesia. Most restaurants were closed, being Good Friday and all, and we were tired and hungry so we chose this place because it was open. And we're glad we did.We were greeted with friendly servers and were given a choice of a table downstairs or in the viewing deck of sorts. We chose to stay downstairs because 1, it was aircon and 2, my mom doesn't navigate stairs well. They were efficient in setting up a table for 5 and in getting our orders. Food was delivered within a reasonable (actually, it was kind of fast) time and everyone agreed that everything tasted good. My favorite was the pancit habhab with sisig and the sinigang. The place is well lighted but still cozy. It was clean although the powder rooms tended to get a bit dirty with all the guests. The nice thing though was that someone actually goes in to clean the toilets after every guest. Its too bad I wasn't able to take pics of the food because we were all hungry. Definitely worth passing by there again.Thank you so much mam for your overwhelming feedback hope to visit us again. Godbless

It was my hubby's birthday and his family came for a visit. It was such a blessing that I cam across this place. Overall, we are all happy with the food and service they offered. Will definitely come back!Positive:- Beautiful place. We arrived past lunch and we had the place all by ourselves. Love the setting - rustic, old furniture, old pictures, lots of wood. You would really feel that you're in an old house. Great for selfies and picture taking!- Awesome staff. When they saw that I was carrying a baby, one staff immediately grab an umbrella for the baby. When I need to breastfeed, I sat in one corner for some privacy and one staff came over me and offered an electric fan to keep me comfortable. All of them are very courteous and accommodating. They also assisted me while going up the stairs with the baby.- There's a separate bar at the side of the restaurant. Great for late night beers and cocktails.- There's a billiard table which my husband used while waiting for the food. I didn't mind waiting for the food at all because I was busy taking pictures!- I grew up in an Ilocano household. Their Sinampalukang Manok tasted almost the same as my Lola's cooking. I also loved their Pinakbet, Mechado and Fish fillet. Their Inabraw is too much for me though.- Food is priced just right. We paid about P2200 for a group of seven adults, a 4-year-old and a two-month old baby.. And we even have some leftover food which we brought home. Considering the price per order, the serving is just right for me. Negative:- No real parking lot. We parked our vehicles at the side of a main hi-way. May be a hassle during peak hours. Other tips:- If you are bringing kids, make sure to monitor them because they might slip and fall the staircase. I have to remind my 4-year-old constantly not to go down without asking for help.- No air conditioning units. We didn't mind this mostly because it was drizzling outside. It might be a different story during hot or humid days. There are lots of trees outside though. You may also want to bring some insect repellent if you're planning to have dinner here, just in case. (No screens in those big windows - would ruin the old-house setting, i guess)
This is a No Frills Canteen. Their food is good and affordable. We ordered their Lechon Paksiw, Caldereta and Bicol Express. I liked the Lechon Paksiw, it was delicious. They also have other dishes worth looking into.

What we like about the food - savory - salted egg spareribs cooked to perfection, tasty, but flavor does not overpower. You'll enjoy the texture that is crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. Loved the generous serving of beef broccoli. Finishing off our meal is the halo-halo, which is a must-try! It's creamy, not too sweet, and the ube is heavenly!

I learned of this place from Tripadvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is quite small with a small seating capacity. The facade is modest and unassuming. We ordered their Salo-salo Meal for 5 which consisted of their best selling food items, plus a side order of shrimp. The food was really scrumptious and flavorful. I enjoyed most especially their Pinakbet. For the quality of the food, the price is reasonable. This restaurant should be in your itinerary when visiting Pagsanjan.

From a Home Based Business, Aling Talengs Halo Halo has expanded. Aside from the Restaurant, they also have a branch opposite. We were on our way to San Pablo and We stopped at Aling Talengs. I ordered the Fried Chicken and KareKare plus a Halo Halo. First to be served was the Halo Halo.. and it did not dissapoint. It was heaven in every spoon. In my opinion, the best Halo Halo there is, and never mind the P120 price for something delicious. The Fried Chicken was a revelation. It was delicious, though i hope they can serve a choice of Gravy next time. The Kare Kare was good too.Service was exceptional. Their waiters were very attentive and friendly.

An authentic Japanese restaurant in Pagsanjan, Laguna Philippines BUSINESS HOURS: EVERYDAY, 11:00 AM TO 10:00 PM ACCEPTING CASH/VISA/MASTERCARD
When you happen to visit Laguna (around the Pagsanjan area), be sure to drop by this restaurant! As a foodie and a fan of Japanese food, I've tried a lot of buffets and Japanese restos (even in Tokyo) and I must say theirs are topnotch! They can definitely compete with Tokyo / Manila Japanese restos. Prices are a bit on the midscale but is reasonable for their delicious food! This is our go-to place in Laguna whenever we have special occasions. The owner is a Japanese and he and his staff were always nice and accommodating. They also offer free hot tea and tazukuri (sweetened dilis).I highly recommend this place!PS. They are open from 10 AM to 10 PM everyday.
