After discovering our favorite Mexican place was closed that day, we were searching on Lighthouse for another place for dinner. Lots of choices, but we like Thai so thought we'd give PTC a try. So glad we did. Nice decorative atmosphere inside. All staff very friendly. Husband had Pad Thai w/shrimp--tasted good and serving was ample. I had chicken satay (good sized pieces, and not pounded too flat) and their house salad which was crisp and delicious. PTC is now on our list of must-go-to while in Pacific Grove.

We had good sushi & service walking distance to our hotel. We werenât starving so found this place out of convenience thru Trip Advisor.Food & service was good, 5 min wait. Lacked decor as 1 un-inspired room but satisfied what we needed, just a light dinner.

This small restaurant has a variety of the Thai dishes one would expect but some interesting variations. We tried the "Gulf of Siam" seafood dish---kind of a Thai bouillabaisse with the necessary spicy kick. Delicious. The Tom Yon soup, at even the medium spiciness level left our lips pleasantly burning. A great find in Monterey.

While visiting Monterey for a couple of days, we needed our dose of sushi. Zum Sushi seemed to have some great reviews so we checked it out.Upon arrival we were seated quickly. They couldnât seem to find our reservation, but that didnât really matter. The fish was fresh and very tender. Great quality Tuna (Maguro), and excellent Yellowtail (Hamachi), as well as fresh caught local Calamari tubes. The rolls were also tasty and good. Price was normal/reasonable and not overpriced. Sushi is rarely inexpensive, especially if expecting good quality fish. The Korean chef Chris was very nice and friendly and the server was smiley, efficient and very timely, so we overlooked the couple of minor errors. All in all a great experience and a must visit when in Monterey.
