Mr Liangs is still our favourite Chinese restaurant. We moved from Helensvale but still come back for Mr Liangs excellent food. Great value for money. 10 locals cannot be wrong, driving from surfers to Helensvale for Chinese meal. Give it a try. Highly recommended. Thank you Mr Liang for another excellent meal.

I went there once by chance, about ten years ago, I have been back nearly every week since then. The food is so tasty and fresh, I have not had a bad meal yet and that is saying something from a person like me as I do critique my food.

We had takeaway and ordered chicken red curry, chicken cashew and pad Thai noodles. Lots of veggies which was nice and they were cooked well. But the sauces werenât normal tasting - very strong flavours, very rich and too much. Especially the pad Thai noodles, they were swimming in a dark sauce and was so sickly. Iâve never had pad Thai noodles with that much sauce. Couldnât even eat them. We also had coconut rice but it was so dry, usually coconut rice is a bit creamy and you can taste coconut. Not this one, it tasted like plain steamed rice. Very disappointing and will never go back.

Do not bother, tried the fried rice Mongolian lamb and sizzling beef with Peking sauce. Rice was straight out of a frozen dinner pack at Coles, the two meat options were boiled to the point of being inedible. $45 thrown in the bin and toasted sandwiches.

I would call this your average suburban india. Everything was ok nothing was fantastic. The menu was smaller than expected but the plus side was they had some interesting & tasty regional dishes rather than your average korma, rogan josh, masala done 4 ways. The breads were ok but i thought the pappadams looked like theyd been microwaved rather than fried. The rice serve was a little small so we needed a second one but the meals themselves were a decent amount. The chennai chicken was our standout choice for the evening & really tasty. The service was average, we got water but it was frozen in the bottle. The restaurant was about 1/4 full on a fri night but there was a brisk takeaway service. Think next time id do a takeaway as well

Great Food & inexpensive is probably the best way to describe here. However the whole family including the kids are now sold on the Soft Shell Crabs. So as they say....Do yourself a favour & try them.

Had an enjoyable meal here last year (yes I'm a bit slow in doing my reviews). There were four of us and we were all happy with our meals. It did seem lacking in atmosphere but if the food's good then it doesnt really matter so much. I would eat here again.

Modern Thai cuisine and décor with seating for 38 people. Yes we have high chairs for the little ones and they are always welcome. Bookings are essential Thursday-Sunday as this is our busy times and we would not like to disappoint anyone.
Great little local restaurant to enjoy fresh, tasty & authentic Thai food with the family, not too expensive & can BYO which is a big bonus! Never disappoints & glad to have as our local.

We have been here a couple of times and always have a good meal. Service is always very attentive and the bowl of lollies at the ens is a nice touch. The food here is good but a bit on the expensive side for a small suburban Chinese restaurant. The menu is huge and to be quite honest a bit overwhelming maybe a smaller, 'less family album' style would be a good start.Overall this is a good restaurant with good food, it's just a little different than most.

Arakawa is fashioned in the traditional Japanese style. It offers enticing dining options including intricately hand-crafted sushi, traditional a la carte dishes and the thrills of teppanyaki tables. Arakawa also features intimate tatami tables which can
We came here for dinner twice whilst staying at the resort. The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. We booked Teppanyaki for the second night, and would highly recommend doing so - what an experience. We chose the 'Akane' set menu - highlights were the chicken thigh (perfectly cooked), and the pumpkin miso custard. We don't eat rice, so they happily allowed us to swap our fried rice for edamame. The chef was very friendly and skilled, and our waitress was wonderful. The food was out of this world. Will definitely be back. Thank you!Dear TheSaucies, Thank you for your great review! We are so pleased to hear you loved your dining experience at Arakawa you decided to dine again during your stay! We look forward to welcoming you back again soon for another incredible dinner. Kind Regards, The Arakawa Team.
