Can't believe this restaurant is not available to review on TA. Been eating Indian food around the world for 20 years and this is a gem of a restaurant close to home. Guess it's Omagh's best kept secret. Amazing food & extensive menu (the chicken saag is
We visited the Kamal Mahal one Wednesday evening in late August 2017, while touring the Omagh area. We found it to be a nicely appointed restaurant, with a relaxing modern Indian atmosphere. Being midweek it wasn't that busy. Our waitress was very pleasant. The menu was quite comprehensive, and we had no problems choosing starters and dinner. The food was plentiful, and the quality was very good. The restaurant was very clean, as was the cutlery, plates, drinks glasses etc. Service was fairly fast, and the food came to our table quite quickly. Our curries tasted. The Chicken Tikka was cooked to perfection, as were the jumbo shrimp. Peshawari Naan was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Overall we were very pleased with our choice of the Kamal Mahal, and would recommend it to others.

Great meal, great value .....Their (early menu) is somewhat confusingly labelled at 'high tea' .... wonder if something got lost in the translation ??Anyway ... quickly established that 'high tea' (me thinking tea & cakes), really meant 'early bird', and it was excellent value.Choice of two of three courses, from a special menu, I enjoyed the wontons and then chicken satay, and can recommend both. (I don't eat much !), and they cheerfully put my leftover chicken satay into a takeaway box, which I am enjoying tonight !

I have visited this restaurant on many occasions and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. To my mind it is a hidden gem and you won't be disappointed. It is also great that your can bring your own wine. Excellent value for money.

I've tried them all and Riverside is simply the best chinese in the town. The staff are friendly and the food is plentiful and tasty. Delivery can be a little slow but I guess thats down to its popularity which proves it must be good.
