I have occasionally eaten food from China Inn over the years. The restaurant is clean with ample indoor seating. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate special requests. I have found that the menu can be uneven; certain items can range from very good to average at best. Tonight I was in town and decided to pick up dinner from China Inn. I went with a couple of shrimp egg rolls, hot and sour soup, shrimp in lobster sauce and brown rice. The shrimp egg rolls are consistently tasty. Crispy on the outside with a tasty filling that is not greasy. I was disappointed with the hot and sour soup. The broth tasted like it was made with a thickener from a jar or can. Leaving out the chunks of white mushrooms or replacing them with wild mushrooms would have probably improved the soup. However, the shrimp in lobster sauce was quite good and complemented by the perfectly cooked brown rice. The lobster sauce was light and fresh tasting and included a generous amount of shrimp. There are not a great deal of options for Chinese food in Cape May Court House; China Inn is a decent choice.

I chose Island Shore's cuisine because the menu has a variety of entrees to choose. The chef owner is well known and it was nice reading about his services. Dinner was Chicken & Eggplant mildly spiced sauce as I requested. My husband chose Sweet & Sour Chicken. Platters include soup, different rices & a spring roll. Very busy take out service but our server was attentive to our dining needs.

I have been going here since 2011. Never ever disappointed. So friendly. One word of advice make a reservation. Always greeted so graciously by Andy. Love this place.

I work for a local Mental Health facility. Our Drug Reps provide lunches, many times and I found out about Island Shore Chinese Food (Marmora), which is FANTASTIC...what I recently found out is that Chef Alan has ANOTHER place closer to me, in Ocean View on Rt. 9. THE BEST I've had in Jersey- fresh, excellent sauces- even after sitting a day in the fridge- no kidding- I am a foodie with a "capital F"- these 2 places are simply the Best...and Chef Alan and his staff are great, gracious people. You CANNOT BEAT the Lunch Special's for value- A+++

We truly enjoyed our Kim Roll special, seafood hibachi and sashimi dinners. Service was prompt and friendly. Waitress never wrote a thing down but got our order 100%. BYOB our wine was placed in an ice bucket and glasses provided. Small and quaint nicely decorated place.

We came here for a later Saturday night dinner. The place was moderately busy as it usually is. They didnât have enough service but she tried the best she could. The food was fresh hot and tasted very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if youâre in the area.
