Sandwiches, chicken dishes and fish and chips are the common food you will find in Nuku alofa. but if you want something different, something to tickle and spice up your palate, head to the Korean House by the waterfront in Vuna Road. The spicy pork soup (cannot remember the name now) served with rice and all those pickled vegetables hit their marks. Walked out very happy from that joint. But here is a reminder, Sunday, the religious rest day is strictly observed here in Tonga, no commercial activities, so remember to come anytime except sunday.

Okay this is not great Chinese, but when you are in Tonga, most of the Chinese places are barely up to takeaway standard. The quantity and quality of food was good and service was fine. Comfortable dining but nothing special. All the usual suspects on the menu and well priced.
With different dishes and beverages to suit everyone wants and needs, Victor's Cafe has established itself as one of the top Cafe's in not only Nuku'alofa but Tongatapu as a whole. Come in and join us today!
I came here with my family for the breakfast. It was super average. There were 10 of us, and the only other family here was a small young European family who didn't seem to like their meal. I don't blame them! I actually didn't like my meal myself. they open I think from 7am, and their breakfast is buffet. The only thing I liked about the buffet table was the deep fried dough tongans are good at making. their eggs, dry , tasteless and limp- not juicy like normal scrambled eggs in buffets. We had to wait for out bacon and sausages to be cooked and even when that was done, that was served on individual plates and brought to our table. Describing the sausages, you can literal go to the chinese store and buy a pack and cook at home. There was nothing special about it. No ready made coffee, its like we arrived there and the staff stood around waiting for us to order....but its a buffet breakfast? we also had to wait for our toast, which is btw general bread -nothing special. Coffee the guy made me was too strong, I can tell he didn't know how to work the machine. I think the staff was more overwhelmed that there were even customers. My Aunty - who lives here in Tonga, enjoyed herself. I and my aunty from Australia and my cousins from NZ, we were just saddened at how basic this place is. So Foreigners! Only come here if you really have no place to go for breakfast.
