I really enjoyed my dinner here even through the price was pretty steep. A friend brought me here and suggested we bring several others. It is smarter to come here with more than one person and just split the bill. The more you can eat, the better due to the price.I would definitely suggest bringing someone along that either knows Korean, or has been to a true Korean BBQ before and knows what they are doing. Without my friend, I wouldn't have known what to do and I can tell the language barrier might have made it tough! The service was very prompt though despite how busy they were. All the seats were filled in the restaurant, but they were on top of our needs and whenever we needed refills on food or drinks. We also enjoyed the karaoke after our meal. It was a first time experience for me and I enjoyed it, however my friend told me that they their karaoke list wasn't as updated as it could be and each of the microphones had some issues with it, one was loose and one had a volume issue. The room was rather chilly as well, but that didn't stop us from having a good time. If you are drinking, I'm sure the temperature of the room would be more comfortable.

This restaurant has two locations, one on Smith Street, North Providence and one on Killingly Street, Johnston. Although both are good I frequent the North Providence location. Fried calamari is my favorite thing on the menu. It is very difference from the Italian preparation. Try it, and it is a bargain at only $7. The won tons here are wrapped to order and are delicate, fresh and tasty. All the soups are delicious, too. I have tried many dishes here, all deserving of excellent reviews, but the Red Ginger Special Chop Suey has all the things i love combined in one dish: noodles, vegetables and choice if meat/seafood. Everything is very fresh and prepared to order. They have always accommodated every request I have ever made to tweek certain dishes. Portions are good, front desk and phone service are excellent, but eat in table service was a little slow. I have heard this comment from others as well. CLEAN! Oh yes, very clean, including the restroom. It is a new spot recently redecorated and it is lovely. At dinner soft music is played in dining room. There are booths and tables with chairs. Handicap accessible. Love this place, and the food is not over salted, either!

I had a very enjoyable dinner here. There were many options, but the server didnât really have any suggestions. The rolls sampler was really good. The orange seitan has a bit too much batter coating, so it was really filling and a bit sweet for me. The General Tso was better. All in all, a satisfying dining experience. If youâre looking for a place when vegans an omnivores can all leave happy and full, this place wonât disappoint.

I am picky about sushi restaurants and I really like this one. The service is great and the food quality is high. The ambience is very nice, too...you would never expect that you were in the corner of a shopping strip. Like most Japanese restaurants they have well-priced bento boxes for lunch which are my favorite.

I love Jackieâs restaurant (Providence location), but their N. Providence location isnât that great. The food does not taste good and most of the waiters are not pleasant. I have been there 3 times and had always a negative exprerience. Yesterday was definitely my last shot.

This is a very modern, very minimalist, but very accommodating middle of the road restaurant specializing in "Asian" food. They do Korean and Japanese with equal adeptness. Their signature dish is Bibimbap hot stone bowls. They come in a large variety of combinations. The allure is not only the vast array of options but the stone bowl. They use the same bowl to cook the dish as the bowl which is served at your table. The contents are irresistibly umami tasting. The rice tends to stick to the sides and bottom of the bowl, and this is the magic in the dish. You scrape off the rice and the result is great tasting and crispy rice. The sushi rolls were very very fresh and reasonably prices. Come to think of it, everything was reasonably priced. The Korean style short ribs were a little too sweet but it was to be expected. They do the sweet/spicy/salty combination that most people look for. There were so many things that I wanted to taste, like the Yaki soba noodles, bulgogi beef, and hot pot soup, There is something for everyone. The spartan decor somehow works with the style of the menu. The fact that many of the customers were obviously oriental, tells you that they are doing it right. I would go back in a heartbeat, and that is not usual for me. They also have a DenDen specilizing in fried chicken. I have to go there and report on it.

Upscale Asian restaurant specializing in sushi.
The food is as beautifully prepared as the lovely view of Providence waters. Great service and great menu selection that left everyone full and happy. A wonderful spot to celebrate a birthday or gather with small or large groups. Valet parking is offered for âfreeâ and you determine the tip.

A wonderful and impromptu dinner after pre-made plans were thrown off by a storm delaying our arrival in Providence. My wife of 20 years (and a day), who is self admittedly âa bitâ picky, raved about each plate and threw caution to the wind and complimented the chefs and the front of house team personally ... and I couldnât but agree wholeheartedly!

The Green Basil was one of the best Thai restaurants I ever had the pleasure to visit. The food made fresh to order. Delicious and enough for three meals! I the Pad Thai was the best I ever had. Don't forget to try the Thai ice tea, a mix of tea with creamy orange flavor.
