We always enjoy the sushi at Kombu, which has a somewhat different take on the usual offerings and is always beautifully fresh. Would recommend the South African style varieties, featuring biltong and crispy chicken! Very friendly and attentive staff, but be prepared to wait a little while, as fresh doesn't come fast.

We were looking for something a bit different for lunch on a Sunday and I thought we would try this restaurant again, hoping for better food than my takeaway experience. We were the only people there. That made me nervous. Service was poor and the food even worse. We left after starters.

I was ravingly hungry one afternoon and I love a good Indian curry. The place is sparsely furnished, a little hilly nilly put together but the staff were friendly and helpful. They should decorate it to look traditionally Indian - create a little atmosphere. The prices are okay and they have a liquor license which is great for a visit with friends. I took the special that day - the Lamb Breyani - actually a little expensive, but one of my favourites, I must say, I was not impressed. It was just tasteless, did not taste authentically Indian. I will go back and give it another try though, maybe I will be able to give it a better review.
