Didn't try any Indo dishes. But the Thai lunch sets were all low on seasoning and zero spice. Not bad for a quick lunch in a funky beach hut in downtown Nagano.

Made a online booking for lunch. Arrived and was ushered upstairs to a cosy nice private table. We had a mix of orders...one was the special seasonal lunch set which included many types of different vegetables (no normally found and served)....this was really good. The gyu was also nicely done. Coffee/Tea is served at the end. Its located at the Patio Daimon which is close to the grand temple. An experience difficult to describe. We sat mesmerized by the authenticity of this multi hundred year old traditional eating house. Delicious variety of local dishes. Huge selection of Regional Sake and Beers. Helpful staff with some English. Don't miss this. Nothing like it. Step back in time.

I usually stop here if my connection between Shinkansen and bus to Hakuba is not smooth. It's close to the station, (opposite side from bus stops, but still convenient) the old guys making and serving can be amusing. The quality of fish is pretty good for the price.

We were recommended by different local people to try this ramen shop. Though a small one and you need to wait for sometime around 20-30min, myself and my companion had ordered miso chasyumen (millstone) with a bottle of Asashi! They donât have varied choices which they can control the quality of their food! Fantastic!

Followed the advice of previous reviewers and was not disappointed. Service is prompt and courteous everywhere I have been in Japan and it remains the case here. Had the Kakiage Tempura Soba, soba with fried vegetable fritters, loved it. Getting used to beer with dinner (and a few lunches). Worth a look around the Mi do ri department store after youâve eaten. Great place. Look for the blue curtains in the food court on level 3.
