Things to do in Murwillumbah
I was attracted into this little esoteric cafe, (wee bit hard too find) behind a garden center, by the alluring $6 "pumpkin scone Denonshire tea". The scone was delicious but the "cream" was of the compressed airbottle variety which I do not class as the real deal. Still the setting is restful, the limited range of food on offer inexpensive and the soundtrack being played just the right beat. Pleasant place to while away some time relaxing.

I visited this restaurant whilst visiting a friend staying in Murwillumbah and after reading other reviews on trip advisor. The restaurant is small and has a no frills decor but the service was friendly. There is a lunch special menu with multiple choices of dishes with either boiled or steamed rice, there is also an a la carte menu if you want that option. The portion size was reasonable and my friend and I chose to order three lunch specials to share, the left overs we took away. The only fault I could find and it was minor one of the main dishes was brought out before the soup entree. The short soup had sliced pork pieces in it but tasted delicious. The three mains were Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork and chicken with cashew nuts, the beef tasted very nice, however the sweet and sour pork dish did not seem to have enough sauce or pineapple in it and the chicken tasted slightly bland but had plenty of cashew nuts,Overall for the pricing $38.20 for the meal I would eat here again.
Always go here for a guaranteed good feed. Great service, Beautiful food and good central location. The Japanese beer Sapporo is yum and the chilled ceramic mug it comes in makes it even better. Try a vego noodle dish or the many soups.. beautiful Japanese plates. A fave of ours.
Style of Meals Sri Lankan style seafood and meat dishes. South Indian style authentic Hindu vegetarian meals (W/F, G/F and Vegan mostly) Also colonial influenced international innovative cuisine (non generic). Fresh juices and fruit lassies - home-made yo
Had a lovely meal here with friends - an unexpected, stumbled upon delight. Very good food, lovely decor and music, and the staff were great too. Only wish we could stay for one of the regular Sunday jazz sessions.Music and food go so well together and we enjoy putting on intimate music events for our friends and guests - either in the garden or in our piano room. So pleased that you enjoyed your time with us.

Been twice and last time had to sit outside on one of the two external tables it was so busy. That's OK because it's a quiet courtyard and the service was still good. Groups tend to book it out Saturday nights unless you've booked early. But the food is very reasonable and prices even better. Inside is a small space that only seats about 12 at one long Teppanyaki bar.

This is a good quality BYO Thai restaurant providing food cooked by Thais. Service is efficient, the menu is extensive and the ingredients are fresh and nicely presented. Could offer more sensitivity to level of spiciness, that is gradations of spiciness not offered by waitress. Tendency to offer little spice as default offering. Good experience from a restaurant conveniently located in the town's the main street.

Not happy Trip Advisor! relying on you. Celiacs be warned. The staff behind counter didn't even know what GLUTEN was. I've eaten Indian in India and this is 2 star food. Sorry but other celiacs who spend an ENTIRE NIGHT vomiting after being poisoned deserve better. Thanks for feedback about your recent visit in our restaurant. sorry for replying bit late haven't visited this site for while. our curries are GLUTEN FREE Except KOFTAS , we do special care for special Dietary requirement customers which we have a lot and they do trust us from long time haven't had any problem in the past. But have to mention to front staff while placing order and they write special note for kitchen staff that they have to care off . but here i am apologising if any misscommunication happened during the time placing order for special requirement because if we can't fulfil someone"s dietary requirement we just simply refuse to cook that dish as no one like to play with someone"s health. And you have also mentioned that you didn't like the food consider it as 2 star food , everybody have a different taste and expectation if you will compare our food with traditional indian or street food in India . YES we have moderate our food according to local people taste and made it little mild as compare to traditional Indian food but still you can ask for hotter or more spicy if you can handle that. And our chefs been hired from India while they were working with TAJ group of Hotels and OBEROI Hotels chain in India, just mention the name as you have just said that you been to India. But i still apologise on behalf of my whole staff if you did has a hard time due to negligence of our front staff. Management Coriander Indian Restaurant
